Buppies, take a probiotic with the antibiotic, will make a huge difference in the intestinal problem. Feel better. Try Align brand.

26 and going to a high of 59. Wind E 6 mph. Sunny.
Maybe this cool snap will kill off a few more bugs. One can only hope.

The scrap boat is on the trailer, just have to tie it down, then it can go to the dump.

The new fridge will be arriving today about noon or so. I'll let it stand for 24 hours uncrated, then put it in place and put the old one in another room. This one is 18 cu ft all fridge.

Have a good day all

Poured second cup of coffee. 41° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 67° with lots of sun. Never got rain yesterday. Called it a day after finishing one section of pavers. Will do last section of leveling today. Ribs came out good yesterday. Need to change BBQ sauce. Wife says it's to spicy for her. Any suggestions.

Randy, Woodward Dream Cruise is August 18th this year. I will have to admit that I was one of those Woodward Cruisers back in the 60's. Fun time cursing the Totem Pole, Ted's and other places along the route. All my trophies got thrown out when we moved to this place in 72.

Buppies, get well soon.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all. Buppies surprised you didn't get more rain.
I got 1.5 inches yesterday and about half an inch last night.
Nicely watered.

Much cooler day, 63 out now only going up a few degrees with cooler weather for next few days. Fine with me.

Arthritis doc appt this morning, taking a bottle of curcumin with me for his advice based on all the other medicine I'm taking.
something is working, I'm doing a lot more than I thought I could.

Then I head to car dealer and will be told they have had zero leads on the Jaguar, and I will tell him thank you and I'll come get it tomorrow and will just go take my beating and trade it to the Audi dealer. Well, I tried. Would have done better in Hemmings but at least dealer put it in autotrader so the search bots could find it.

In between that I drop off four quarts of snow peas to the local food bank. Only four families to help but that's all I've got. Each quart took me almost twenty minutes to pick... Wait til I make them sick of twenty tons of okra... All of my lettuce is ready to be picked, might do that this afternoon. Food bank thankfully has big walk in so I can get the lettuce to them late this afternoon for distribution tomorrow morning.

I did blanche the peas, first time cooked them over a minute and almost fully cooked them. Hmmmm. Next time just under a minute and perfect. Stuck the plastic bag into the sealer and it refused to melt the seal. ?? Sucked the air out, so I just folded it over and put it in the freezer, solid block of peas now. That will be nice to have later this year. Have to fiddle with the machine, I'm sure it's operator error.

Those of you with allergies.

Did any ever take allergy shots? What where your results?

Currently finishing the buildup process to maximum dose. Still on allergy medicine and being told I値l need the shots at max dose monthly for atleast 3 years. Then I shouldn稚 need allergy medicine more than seasonal after that. Currently on 3 different allergy medications.

I致e been on allergy shots since I was seven, Farmer, and will probably be on them the rest of my life. My symptoms are almost completely controlled. I do get overwhelmed if I mow grass and weeds, use the table saw or sander on wood, or spray paint without wearing a partical mask, and sometimes will sneeze a few times when certain plants are polinating, but that痴 not much compared to what it was without the shots. I consider myself very lucky to have such a good outcome, as the shots don稚 always work for everyone. I hope your results are even better!

Buppies, get well soon. Stay positive.

Nice day shaping up. No rain this weekend. Very odd. So, took advantage and mowed more grass.

Prayers and good fortunes for all.

I am working slowly on my beadboard ceiling. How to remove 20 year old glue from 100 year old wood, quickly? I have glue strips down the length of the room, from the drywall they had over the beadboard. I have taken a scraper to it, labor intensive. I am looking for an easier solution, maybe chemicals? The glue is nice, old and brittle.

Thoughts, appreciated.

Be safe, have a great day.

60 degrees going for a high of 92 today; clear and sunny. My wife's portable oxygen system ain't workin' so the provider opens at 8:30 a.m. and I'm just going to take it to them instead of calling since it's only about 20 miles, and I can exchange some empty oxygen bottles for full ones. Then she has a 1:00 p.m. appointment with her oncologist for a checkup, chest x-ray, and Prolia injection. And since the oncologist has never been known to be less than 30 minutes late; usually more like an hour or two, it's gonna be a long day.

Good morning.

Clear and sunny down here.

Weekend was busy. 60 gallons of deck oil put down on 7000 ft2 of decking. It was a chore. Next time I will invest in a sprayer extension. To minimize overspray I had to use low pressure and spray really close. That meant being on my knees for the entire job. My body is still sore! I did take some time off on Saturday and went to a derby party with my better half. We got all dress up and she had her fancy hat on. We got some really good food and I enjoyed a couple mint juleps. Worked on my tractor on Sunday and got the engine to run. Now I have to finish fixing the hydraulic to get it back to running again.

Good morning! 60˚ heading to 90˚ sunny, no wind.

A pileated woodpecker has made a home in a large dead oak tree in the yard I especially left for it. I have been hearing a few thumps for a week and finally saw him come out of the hole he carved in the trunk.

Waiting to hear word on a neighborhood house that the medical helicopter was canceled on and the JP was called instead. We just can't seem to get any quicker than a 30 minute response. The second in two weeks, the population is decreasing in this part of the county.

Good Morning!!!! 57F @ 5:30AM. Sunny. High 82F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Lots of catching up with you folks this AM, you’ve all been BUSY! Interesting video on the pool, David, funny mayonaise joke, Rick! Hope Ted and Bubbies are back on their feet real soon. Best wishes for a rapid recovery for sick or paining wives as well.

Missed my ride at the VW event; the owner/driver decided to sleep in. Weather was perfect, very nice shaded camp spot, got some ideas for home made bumpers, uneventful trip to and from. Boilin’ bagged food prep worked very well; easy and no dirty dishes. Saturday pot luck diner was even better, made me sleepy so skipped beer party that didn’t start until 9PM. Guess I’m gettin’ old. Very glad to be back in my own bed.

Hope everyone’s week gets off to a great start!
