Hey guys,

New owner of an XH2025, novice user. I just installed a Piranha tooth bar on my 50" bucket, works good but to move brush and logs I'm considering pallet forks too for moving brush and tree logs. Was hoping to put the clamp on (Titan maybe) on the bucket, wasn't sure of the fit with the tooth bar on? Would ideally like to find something that I can attach easily (and remove) without having to take off the tooth bar. Wish LS had quick attach pallet forks, went to look today but the darn web site is down.

Would like to hear any ideas or suggestions you folks may have.

Thanks,

Jarv

Get a separate ssqa pallet fork. Leave your toothbar bucket alone and just swap back and forth between bucket and forks as needed. Takes less than 1 min to swap. That would be simplest.

What CMV said. Otherwise you will end up with a bent bucket.

Thanks guys, is there a particular model that is quick attach for the XJ2025?

They are pretty much universal. You just don't want something stout enough to lift a zillion lbs on a skid steer since that extra weight takes away from the load you can lift.

If I had to replace mine, I would look for around 2000 lbs capacity, 48" forks, decent height rear fence, and forks that look to adjust in/out simply. I would also compare overall weight vs rated capacity and all else equal go with lower weight. Opposite of probably anything else you'd buy, but once you get weight that far out from the pins you really run out of lift ability quick, so lighter is better to me - and for this machine that would have a real hard time hurting even 2000 lbs forks.

Thanks, so again being a novice, am I to understand my quick disconnect for my FEL bucket is universal and would fit a Titan, BXexpanded or everything expanded ssqa pallet fork? It would be nice if they are quick connect like my bucket is.

Ive got the 42" pallet forks from Titan for my XJ. Fits perfect.

As long as SSQA. I think JD might have a different quick attach?

You can also ask your dealer (or any local tractor dealer). Common thing to have in stock for a tractor dealer.

Tomahawk Attachments :: Tomahawk Fork Frame w/Forks these are ones I have.

So exactly what kind of tractor do you have? Does the loader have SSQA mounts (you pull up levers to disconnect). If yes, any Skid Steer Quick Attach forks will mount - that's the beauty of SSQA.

So I looked everywhere to find cheap used forks. They don't exist. I bought Titan 46" nonadjustable forks on sale for $251 with free shipping! I couldn't be happier. They are well built and a great value. I had some scrap angle iron laying around, so I made some debris forks for brush. Works for me.

Thanks, I have the LS XJ2025 with the levers, so I assume they are SSQA mounts, but I'll check with my dealer. Thanks for all of the feedback folks!
