No respectable farmer owns a lexus."But I spent my last dollar on the big ________ tractor I need at the farm!" the owner said. LOL Jon
I would never buy one. But it might make sense to have a comfortable highway cruiser in Montana or West Texas or someplace where you drive 4 hours to town and do it frequently. Now finally a self-driving Tesla might be an even better choice, however. No respectable farmer owns a lexus.
No respectable farmer owns a Lexus.
Generally, agreed. But, a farmer could own one if he also used it to transport newborn calves or to drive in the field with seed or for harvest use. Over the years I've seen a number of Cadillacs pressed into similar service and it all turned out OK.
Spotted this brain trust Saturday morning, on my way to a job site.

In case it's not obvious, it's not chained down at all.
And it's running.
I see this all the time up here.
Saw another guy (different rig) doing the same thing last night, on our way out to dinner.
What is with these idiots?
About 2 years ago, 60 miles north of Bangor in the town of Lee we saw a Taurus with 2 goats in the back.We used to haul calves in the back of a three door Toyota Tercel back in the 1970's Worked great until one almost got loose and almost rolled us.
Back in Bangor, Maine in 1977 I saw a nice looking luxury car parked in front of the bank with a good sized pig in the back seat. It didn't seem to bother anyone and no one else seemed concerned so I just waked by.
