Buying my husband a new Kubota RTV 1100 and looking for input

Have you checked with his male freinds if he would want a Cabbed tractor so he can do tractor projects with all the implements or the RTV. Either are really nice? (Get both)

Good evening everyone. After watching my husband struggle for years plowing with his 17 year old Kawasaki mule, I am getting him a new Kubota 1100 RTV with the V plow. Our winding driveway is 600 feet long that empties into a large open area. We have a Kubota dealer near us and of course, the salesman talked up a storm about it's merits. We have not looked at any other brands.

I would love to hear from someone who owns one and what you think are good accessories to have (i.e., the screen on the back, mirrors, etc). Does the heater work good? Thanks to all of you.

I have a 2009 RTV1100. Have the front & rear work lights, bed liner, Kubota (Curtis) OEM power angle plow and a Kenwood stereo. It plows great, I do around 9 driveways around the neighborhood along with a 1000' right of way in addition to my 250' or so of driveway. Does a fantastic job. The heat is great..Sometimes you may have to turn the AC on in heat mode, that helps clear the window fog if you get in and out in the snow. Don't put re-circulation on the HVAC, that makes it worse. As others have said, wish it was faster but it's all I really need.

Sounds like you plan on doing a lot of snow removal with that machine. I would advise having the dealer price in, or throw in, a set of tire chains. They may prove to be money in the bank.

I asked for the 50hr service to sweeten the deal and they agreed, price was about 10% below retail.

Do you have the screen for the back window part number? I have not been able to find one yet.
