Drinking first cup of coffee. 70° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with partly cloudy skies. Made it to Wylie, TX yesterday. Crazy driving around Denton, TX. 60 mph speed limit with less 1/4 mile between traffic lights for over 10 mile. Apparently they never heard of lowering speed and timing lights to allow for smooth traffic flow. Other than that, good trip. Met with Harvey, but Glenda had doctor appointments.
Don, good idea for green tea. But the schedule is set for every 5 years.

Good morning! 69˚ cloudy heading to 83˚. Looking for the last big cold front heading here this weekend. Temperatures will drop into the 40s. Lots of little projects to do today.

My AC Yamaha golf cart is not going in reverse every once in a while. I hate intermittent problems. It's under warranty but taking it 75 miles and then hope it acts up for them would be OK but now it working fine again. I got another 8 months of warranty left I may wait till it becomes a permanent problem.

Whipper chased some pigs into the woods again yesterday. I heard a bunch of loud squealing, some grunts and Whipper running full speed out of the woods looking over her shoulder. I think big daddy is putting a stop to Whipper's kidnappings.

Ron Denton sounds like a good place to drag race light to light.

waiting for my ride to go to the GI doc, after not eating for over a day I think I could chew on the napkins now...this too shall pass and I plan on a nice lunch. going through this leaves you tired for sure. Grumpy, no coffee.sigh.


Wingsprd, your grapple is really cool and so is your field of flowers/weeds/something. Very pretty.

Ron, we should have waved at each other! I came through Denton on my way home from Abilene yesterday. Two days home the headed toward New England to work a couple of months it appears.
I think I'll try to get the lift cylinder rebuilt and the housing cleaned out on the old Ford 2n today. And it looks like the wind got a shingle that now needs replaced.

59F @ 08:00 ... going up to 81F with the possibility of strong thunderstorms throughout the day.

We got dumped on pretty good last night, so more really isn't needed. Grass will be growing like mad. Still haven't mowed the lawn yet this year ... so it will all need to be picked up once it finally dries out enough to mow. More material for the compost pile. Also managed to dodge the bullet on plowing the drive this winter.

With the warm weather finally here, I've started to get some outside work done again. Three full days of yardwork, including two with The Woman's help.

Gonna go up to the shop here in a few and do a little clean up in there ... need to make some room and get the tractor in for some maintenance.

The Julidochromis continue to spawn pretty regularly ... probably have fry from 5 or 6 spawns in there at this point. A couple of the larger fry, with Momma:

Sure is pretty clover you've got there, Wng. And the price of the EA grapple is pretty easy to swallow, too. Any thoughts on why you went with single top vs. the double top?

Looks like I'll have about two dozen guys up here camping over the weekend to wrench on their air cooled BMW motorcycles. Off to pick up the food this morning, with a brief stop at the mechanic's to discuss a drawing he asked for of a muffler clamp, and see if there's been any progress, unlikely as that prospect is. The house is clean, but there's still much in the garage to put away. Only problem with that is it sometimes gets put away so well I never see it again.:laughing:

Low 60's now, supposed to get to 81° later today, but with the clouds I'm not so sure. I've got assemble an acorn grill, which is a Big Green Egg knockoff, my daughter is giving it to our son in law for his birthday. Box says easy assembly guaranteed, what could home wrong!

66°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 77° with rain later. Radar shows it moving in already.

Wife had a nice visit yesterday morning from the neighbor across the road. She hadn't been in the house since before G'ma died last year, and was amazed at the changes we've made so far. These neighbors are a little odd (she's from Brooklyn, he's a local) in some of the things they do, but they are very nice people.

Good luck with your audit, Roy. Since leaving the aerospace industry, I truly don't miss those AS9100/NADCAP/et al rectal exams. ISO9001 is a breeze by comparison.
