Good morning!!!!

Nice change to have the sun shining brightly this morning. I have someone coming for a few bales of hay in an hour, just a pity it won't have had chance to dry up by the hay barn, the ground there has turned to mud, so it's going to make a mess loading them up.

David, that's a good price for solar. Take care if you are working up on your roof. The electrical parts of solar systems aren't too friendly either when you have panels connected in series (unless you are working at night ;)). DC always scares me much more than AC.

Good morning all.. been working out our fuel price here for yall to ponder.. NZ$2.14 per liter.. $8.10 a gallon.. exchange rate is 73c to our dollar so about six bucks a gallon. More if you want the good stuff. One way to phase out big engines I guess. Plus side is I don't travel..
Keen on going solar but can't afford the panels in case I need fuel

27 going to 41.

Farmer, hope your son is doing better.

Don, I feel a FICO fluctuation coming! Too much fence work.

Eric, how's the grandson's visit been?

olPete, that must be a hefty charge when you fill up a big gas tank. Gas was $2.03 here yesterday when I filled up in Glen Allen.

All went well at the dermatologist yesterday. She was almost disappointed there was nothing to freeze/squirt.

42 degrees high of the day, dropping slowly through the day. After two nice warm days, I'll take a cold day in.
Besides it's raining and miserable out now.
David/Sodamo, that must be a lot of bolts to undo.

14 here, feels colder, a little wind here. At least no more snow. Got a couple little chores to do at the wife's shop and at home. Being retired keeps me busy!

Good Morning! 54F @ 4:45AM. Showers and thundershowers this morning, then cloudy with rain likely during the afternoon. High around 50F. Winds SSE at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall may reach one inch.

Another wave of storm clouds just swept through, dumping about a quarter inch of rain and rousting me from a sound sleep with booming winds and the sound of the drops on the bedroom sliding door. That makes half an inch since midnight, and with almost another half inch yesterday evening, this has been a pretty good system. Most of that came just as I was crawling into bed last night, but without the wind made a nice little lullabye.

Not much work on the van since last time again, and I made it known that I was not very happy, as there is a VW bus/BMW motorcycle camp out this weekend that I'd told him about two months ago as wanting to attend in the bus instead of sleeping in a soggy tent. Still no signs of an engine, and obviously that's not gonna happen. No excuses, just shrugs his shoulders and looks at the ground. He's up to three helpers now, but none of them are self directed, and he spends most of the day telling them each step of what they are to do. It's discouraging.

After rotating one fan to clear the firewall sheetmetal, the new radiator shroud fit just fine. We fired up the fans with a temporary connection to a battery and got a great deal more air flow than the factory setup, and the operation was deemed a success.

Temperatures are supposed to be mild today with the wet weather, and new brakes and tires are here for the big touring bike. Might get a start on that, or might chip away at some paperwork. Also have a few more smart switches to install, so there's no shortage of things with which to stay busy.

From the bottom edge. Some ridge top systems can be vented with passing air using venturi.

I only want the underlayment as more insurance due to the poor quality of the existing roof.

How will the bottom edge be covered to stop wasp and insects and allow air to pass?

Don, I feel a FICO fluctuation coming! Too much fence work.
No fence work just trail clearing work, but what is FICO?

Good morning! 45˚ heading only to 51˚ gray, cloudy day.

I finished smoothing out my 1/2 mile Driveway with sandy gravel and still have enough left over to do it once more.

I needed to cut a terrance in the side of my hill in the woods to capture water into my back tank. I used my BIG 7' 3-way blade with my top and tilt ( making it 5 way) and quickly went back to 2 way box blade. It was too wide going between trees and the ground was to uneven.

My box blade is the blade I always go to with top and tilt. I think I will sell the big blade, I just do not use it. I need to come up with a price. I'll take a pic later. I bought it at an estate auction with some other stuff and can't remember how much I paid for it.
