Welcom to TBN - Nice set up. I am curious about the paint on the chains at the three locations, Is it for install or for tensioner locations - just curious.
Keith

Hi powerscol, the Trygg chains have been amazing so far. The orange links are quick remove links. They make the chains to fit multiple tire sizes, you look up your tire size in a chart and remove the orange links where appropriate.
If anyone is interested, this 1 minute video shows the trigg install....

I'm impressed that they show fitting the chains to the tires, rather than putting on oversize chains that require various methods of tensioning (straps, bungie cords, springs, etc.) to remove the slop.
Helps the suppliers to have some standard sizes to fit many tire sizes, but it results in poor fits unless some fitting as shown in the video happens.

Indiana shared there snow with our Friends in the south this year so I had to dig out a video from 2013 to show my snow weapon . I found The Case Davis Scatback 430 on craigslist and thought I had to have it , because the loader went down just as fast as it went up and the oil running out of all three cylinders it was cheap enough. I never had anything that bent in the middle before and just like the Zero Turn Mower now I do not want anything else. When turning the steering wheel it moves the loader bucket left and right. It has the rocker peddle controlling a hydraulic motor with a #50 chain around the differential and a driveshaft connecting the Dana 40 axles for a posi 4x4. It is painfully slow, the video is it moving as fast as it goes.It has a Wisconsin V4 air cooled engine with a magneto on it.We made this video to share with Friends on the North Island of New Zealand and that is what the wife is yammering about in the video,

Hi Piston, The blower is 74". The tires are loaded and spaced wider (71") for balance on the hills and chain usage. The 3560 handles the blower no problem and I can blow up hill as well. But keep in mind I only blow in LOW gear with slow or fast selected on HST+. I have not tried medium gear, and not sure I want or need to. Engine is smooth at the higher rpms. I seriously looked at and tried out the 4760 and my dealer gave me the option to upgrade after running the 3560 for 3 weeks, but I chose not to. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the good feedback. Hopefully we will see some more pics as the season moves on. Supposed to be over 50 here tomorrow so I won't be posting any!

Where do you guys buy these trygg chains?

Check Windy Ridge Corp. in Tamworth NH I think they switched selling from Trygg to another Swedish maker. Windy Ridge Corporation Since 1985 They are a lot cheaper than Labonville. (they sell trygg) I just bought screw in ice studs for the tractor a couple of weeks ago from them.
