There is a mounting place for it on the front of the trailer but it is not there. Do they sell the trailer without it?

They probably sell it with out the loader. The loader probably cost as much as the trailer. There is a guy on another forum that has a Wallenstien trailer with a loader and he also got the dump box add on. He said it was $20k.

I have windows close enough to the stove, that I don't need to do that.

I just let gravity do the work. lol

I have a garage door in my basement. I pull up with a pallet and transfer it to one of my indoor pallets that hold 4/10cd. Then move it in with the pallet jack. That eliminates handling it another time for me.

Here is my video on lifting a 1/2 cord.

Good job...nice tractor.

But I'm thinking a FULL cord of dry ash (that wood looked dry to me) weighs about 2800, so a half cord is, of course only half of that.

Of course, you could argue that it was green wood, but it isn't... lol

Full cord of dry White or Green Ash is about 3400#. When they are green (that is moisture content, not "Green Ash Species") a full cord of either species goes about 5000# or more. (Black Ash is about 2800# dry, but I don't run into much of that, since I'm not stomping around in swamps all that often.)

I've attached one of the better tables I've found for dry (20% moisture content) wood weights.

It looks only mildly seasoned to me. I wouldn't consider It dry.

The wood was cut and split back in the summer. I laid in a pile until I stacked it a week or 2 ago. I have not checked the MC of it. I've seen charts ranging from 3485 to 3950 per cord. The pallet actually had over 70 cubic feet on it. So depending on the MC and what chart you want to go with my 2200lb for the wood may not be off much. If you go with 3950 per cord it would be 2133lbs.

They sell it with and without. Adding the knuckle boom is a lot more money. It'd be nice, but the using the forks is simple enough.
