Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

Here are coupons for two winners.

First is the two ton folding "shop crane" or engine hoist for $159. This is the cheapest I can recall and is what I paid maybe six years ago. These are handy for lifting anything and I've moved my 1,000 lb tiller with one and taken my loader brackets off and back on with no problems or scratches. The one ton doesn't have a long enough reach but the two ton here is perfect.
2 ton Capacity Foldable Shop Crane

Second are the 11" black cable ties. The 11" ones are very strong and resistant to sunlight. We use them for everything from tying garden posts to holding tractor hoses. $2 for pack of 100 is a good deal.
11" Black Cable Ties, Pack of 1

Those links show the "sale" price that will expire at some point so when the price changes the ad will no longer show the discounted price.

That lift goes on sale about once a year at that price. Funny you mentioned loader mounts ... I bought mine about a year ago specifically for that reason ... to take mine off and weld reinforcing bracket to them.

I purchased a Chonda engine from HF many years ago for a project that never happened. It was the old blue painted one that still had the HP marked on it. A week ago the engine on my Ariens mower/snow blower died. It was a Tecumseh engine and I believe that Tecumseh is native American for, "It will die when you need it." Supposedly it was a 7 horse and the Chonda was a 6.5. I opened the box and found I had to make some parts to adapt it to the mower. I made an adapter to put the 1"ID pulley on the .750" shaft. Bolted the engine up to the base, tapped the bolt circle holes to 5/16 NF (they were metric on this engine) for the belt keeper, added oil and gas. On the second pull it started. By now the lawn was more of a hay field. The mower didn't even slow down for the heavy stuff. If this engine lasts half as long as the original I'll be 85 and probably not worried about mowing the lawn.

I'm thinking about buying the pole saw at $59.99. I'm sure it's been addressed here but I'm lazy and all ears.

Best buy is the Voyager 15" tool bag for 5.99 with coupon. Not a bad bag for that money and a similar sized Milwaukee branded bag is $18+ on Amazon.

My Boss sent me for pile of cheap HF crap today. :)

Everybody loves cheap tools!

I think one of those 44" tool cabinets may be in my garage soon!

Yep, I tried waiting them out for better price but, bought 2 back in May. First one was a return w/o box for $312 with no dents or problems. The second was $370 on sale. These are great cabinets. Go for it. They were $345 for Inside Track Club yesterday.

Its actually a pretty good saw. Brother owns a couple of the Portland tools and is very satisfied... I was gonna buy one @ $69, but found the Remington version for $45 once so got that instead.
