Good morning!!!!

I always enjoy capturing some unique wildlife photos when the
opportunity arises. The bear photos were the most exciting, as they usually
appear when least expected, resulting in a rush to grab the camera before
they leave.

Lots of animals here as well, some of which I only see tracks from. I know what you mean about rushing for the camera!

But one little guy is getting to be a real PITA. He's a gray fox, and for the last six months or so he's taken to leaving scat piles everywhere around the house, even on the front door mat. You know what happens next...

Just imagine what our yard is like with 20-40 wild turkeys in the yard. Even the cat tracks in turkey poo!

Good morning all. 50F this morning and windy and clear. Forecast for 74F and 20+ mph winds, wind expected through Tuesday. Got to Dallas @ 9p Friday night, between road construction and train crossings (as one train was almost past the crossing another one from the other direction started past the crossing :( ) a 1.5 hour drive turned into a 2.5 hour drive. Yesterday unpacked, organized trip paperwork, rode and went to bike shop. Today is ride, and house chores, and lamp modifications for stepdaughter. Supposed to rain most of this week, about 3 in. on forecast. :cool2:

Eric
This was one of those strange circumstances. Bird had gotten into the house and flying around. Wife caught it in the pool net, but it appeared either stunned or exhausted. Probably also comfortable with her as she feeds them every morning. We feed our dogs breakfast just in back of where she is standing. Some morning the dogs are a bit sloppy and leave stuff pushed out of their bowls, especially oatmeal, other mornings they get every last bit and wife will throw out a handful of rice or something. Regardless there are a number of myna birds, doves, and family of Brazilians just waiting their turn. Sometimes some or all of the birds will start pecking around even with the dogs still there. If breakfast is late, the mynas might get a bit vocal. The Brazilians nest in the palms just off to the right so are also used to our coming and going. This little guy didn't want to leave her finger and when he did still hung around about 10 minutes before returning home. Brazilians love car mirrors, but that's another story. :)

Eric, interesting you taught your lamps to know their numbers.
Especially liked Lamb of the Mountain. Reminded me of playing king of the mountain growing up.

We're hosting a Downton Abbey finale dinner tonight. So, will help with general clean up and prep this afternoon.

My wife wants to come. She is predicting the dowager dies.

Eric nice to number code the pairs so they can get the right milk.

Partly sunny 73˚.

I'm making chutney (pic below) to go with our curry and rice.

Getting prepared for the deluge of rain this coming week.

Hopefully, after the rains, I'll get a good day to work on the pavers to post the finished pic by the end of the week!

Something I keep meaning to ask you, Farmer: How do you walk 20,000 chickens at a time?

RNG.

Well let's see each one has a collar and a leash. Then when I walk in they line up. I've also got some ocean front property here as well. (That's the answer I give everyone that ask). :).

Reality is I just walk through them.

At $18.8M the A10 is one of our cheaper planes. In essence, it is a really big Gatling gun with a couple of jet engines strapped on. Not something you want to see if you are in an opposing tank.

I call them the flying cannon.
