Big ad in Outlook keeps popping up for Subway rotisserie chicken, making a big fuss about chicken
raised without antibiotics. Farmer, without antibiotics, how much does yield drop? (assuming chickens without antibiotics have greater mortality)

Two hundred years from now, the future generations will look down at Don's masonry and simply nod "Don was here". And there...

It's been a lazy day. Cold and nasty out, been paying bills, changing hvac filters, all the stuff put off.

I was wondering how you were going to mix all those bags using a wheelbarrow, shovel, and your guns? But then I saw your little helper in the background. ;)
Have you bought stock in the paver company?

Our snow melted before noon, but never got real warm. 35° now.

I removed a sideshot forced exhaust that was on my old boiler, pre geothermal. Took way too long to remove. Still need to remove the boiler, that will take longer. I want to put a 2nd hot water tank in that space, preheat from my geo system.

Wow, I overestimated the number of bags of cement needed by 50% (the good way!) I already took 21 bags back and got my refund.

Stats: 42 ft curbing, 21 bags 80# cement, 1,680 pounds, 63 minutes.
Yes, a new record - average 3 minutes per bag!

Drew. Don't know. I've never raised chickens with antibiotics. Our losses usually stay between 2-4%. We have the option to use antibiotics but it takes a veterinarian prescription and a lot of paperwork. Plus the plant has to run that farm separate from the rest. Antibiotics with us are a big deal and not taken lightly. We use other methods to treat most problems that pop up. Vinegar to change the digestive PH for intestinal problems, iodine works like Mucinex for us and more.

Don. You sure did better than I expected. The mixer I grew up with couldn't mix a bag in 3 minutes. Much less mix and pour.

Don, What kind of mixer? Don't think my plastic one would hold up going that fast. Course i did do my barn footings with it.
