If it doesn't have a bucket level indicator on it, it would be worth making or buying one. It will make an operator of you.

Good luck. I've destroyed a couple of bucket level indicators. Tough to keep them safe when clearing brush in wooded areas. I finally gave up and do without. A level indicator is really only "necessary" or useful when using the bucket to scrape without digging. I have the grapple mounted 90% of the time so absence of a level indicator is no biggie.

Doc (and all other tractor owners),

Your original thread says the property is not flat (except for 2.5 acres around the house). You may want to widen the spread of your rear wheels. Factory width settings for rear tires are typically narrow for shipping purposes. Most owners don't realize they can or should widen the tire width for hilly operation and for FEL operation. I was one of those until the day I finally did widen my rear tire width. It was amazing how much more stable the tractor became and how much more usable. Most important, how much more safe.

And it's not that hard to do.

And they ride better. I run my rears about 8" wider than my bucket. Fronts are a couple inches narrower than bucket.

Does that require you to use 7' implements to cover your rear tracks?

Yeah, but my tractor is a lot larger. My bucket is 7'. My brushcutter is 10'.

Just some polite advice...don't do any work without the ROPS raised. Even on flat ground it's possible to roll a tractor, and especially so if you're doing any sort of loader work. Folded down, the ROPS is far less likely to save you.

A folded ROPS is a ROPS that needs removed. At least that way your tractor will just smash you flat, rather than gore you on the stem. ;)

Seems like a ROPS will only save you if your wearing a seatbelt- otherwise, you takes your chances! Nice tractor, Doc! I imagine it is capable of doing a lot of work, since Mahindra's apparently offer a lot of iron and hydraulics for their price. I hope that all of us who offered advice, from our individual points of view, provided some useful thoughts in the aggregate!

Nice looking off road recreation vehicle!
Another suggestion, get some LED's light bars on the top of the ROPS, real easy, very inexpensive, many threads here. Can put out a lot of light forward and back.
