Good morning!!!!

60 now and foggy, once that burns off it will get to 82 today Going to meet a friend at Chuey's for lunch today, then off to the Dr.

You are a nice guy Drew to think about the kids. I love kids... Fried, sautéed in bacon fat, even baked if done right. I didn't like them when I was one, and it never improved. Never had any of my own. Out of my 5 siblings I have 3 nephews and a niece from 2 sisters.

The young lady wanting the goat cart came by and loves it. Hope to have it sanded and ready to spray this weekend. Went to go tag the new trailer, and there is no weight on the title, so now I have to go get it weighed.

Good Morning! 42F @ 4:30AM. Sunshine and a few clouds. High 57F. Winds light and variable.

Well Drew, you certainly found drama yesterday, but not on the high seas, and not the kind you'd hoped for. So it's on to the next one, and on to planning your Xmas party. Your Christmas Spirit is sure showing, hopefully the drama will lapse and it will carry the evening.

Good luck with the procedure, Buckeye. Good time of year for it, as perhaps by now the maximum out-of-pocket limits are met and the chores around the farm aren't so demanding. Best wishes for a smooth and rapid convalescence.

I wonder how many other threads here reach 40,000 posts?

Never made it out into the shop yesterday, except to make a few measurements. Enco (a large industrial supply house) was having a Cyber Monday sale and I took advantage of it to order some new and heavy tooling. 25% off and free shipping proved irresistible, and soon I hope to be able to repair stripped exhaust port threads on old BMW cylinder heads.

Have a good one, folks!

Not sure if I'm a glutton for punishment or simply having too much fun, but I decided
to order a Santa outfit for myself since my efforts to rent a Santa haven't worked.
I've done this before, one thing being over 200 pounds is good for..quick trip down from upstairs to deliver some trinket presents, a few ho ho's, a command to be good and listen to their parents... and back up for a quick change back. Yes, I'll sure have a picture taken. Now I need to get one of me in the tractor...now that would be a hoot.

Good Morning! 45˚, we may have some sun today!
HO HO HO Drew, I'm glad to see you at least waited till December for the first Christmas party. You do realize If you had the party yesterday (November) you would have to come down the stairs as a Turkey. Now that would be a picture!

50 this morning and headed to 53 today. Slow clearing.

Houses are all ready for birds. Matter fact 2 barns are full 47,000 birds total. Another 2 Thursday. Have a few odds and ends to do today. But nothing major as it's pretty wet out.

Drew. Good luck on party and Santa suit. Hate to hear about the sea trial. Maybe you need to do a sea trial without telling us. A tractor forum talking boats. Someone maybe putting out curses. :)!!

Rs. Wouldn't it be easier to spray the concrete on then put it on by hand? My aquarium experience is very very limited as it was a dreaded one from my youth. So don't think I'll ever have to worry about being in your shoes. But good luck to you.

Buppies how far out do you travel? Seems like by now you'd paved most of Virginia. Good luck on the bids.

Buckeye. Heal quickly.

Be careful Drew. I've a friend that dressed up as Santa for a Christmas party. One thing led to another and soon he found himself hired at a major classy department store from Thanksgiving to Christmas. To the tune of about $30K before taxes for the MONTH.

66°F and .14 inches rain last 24 hours. Great to be back home. No compelling desire to move to Ca.

Sorry about you sea trial Drew.

Be safe
Have a great day

Aquarium masked off, 1st and 2nd coats of Flexi-Dip applied, waiting for the 2nd coat to dry to matte so I can slap a third coat on.

Had a revelation on the concrete color that I thought was too light: I was looking at it dry ... but, of course, it will be submerged.

Dropped a few drops of water on it and it's a whole different ballgame ... :D

Rs. Wouldn't it be easier to spray the concrete on then put it on by hand?
Probably ...assuming there is a small enough airbrush for Gunite ...

Actually, one way to go to speed it up is to use Dry-Lok waterproofing paint rather than 'crete or mortar.

Doubt that would do much as far as adding weight tho' ... and the product is not intended for immersion either.

Mortaring (with a brush) goes a little faster when the mix is thinner ... my first coat was pretty stiff as I didn't want to water it down (to avoid weakness) ... harder to apply with a brush.

My aquarium experience is very very limited as it was a dreaded one from my youth. So don't think I'll ever have to worry about being in your shoes. But good luck to you.
Thanks ...

Drew, I hope your boat buying gets better. I guess I don't understand, if the boat doesn't make speed, do you simply drop it, look for another, or try to re price it? Is it a combination of factors, unknown, or up to the seller?
