What ever happened to simple respect for others? Drone operators seem to think there fun trumps others privacy.

Practice what you preach! Shooting down someone's drone is not necessarily showing respect.

For some, yes, but not all. It's not always intentional either. For instance, I almost had a fly-away with my drone the other night due to wind and other circumstances. I was about 75 yards over the neighbor's land. It's open land and not a house, but had he been like you, and had a house there, I likely would have lost it due to a simple mistake. Is that showing respect for others?

I don't trespass onto others property, I just expect the from others.

Agreed, but I wouldn't shoot them on the first offense.

Or even the second!

I must say that I have zero respect for anyone who reaches for a firearm in any sort of dispute short of defending their life. It really requires a very stupid person to grab a gun when a drone or dog wanders onto their property, even for the tenth time. We have laws and courts to deal with those sorts of things. Grow up and use them.

How many drones have you seen in your life? Is this really a big problem?

I won't fly my drone over my neighbors property and now they are coming and asking me to do so because they want pictures. Did a chimney inspection Sunday.

Some of you seem to have lousy neighbors - and be lousy neighbors. I'm starting to understand why some of you don't post your location: there's no bag limit on Ogres.....

Sort of stereotyping here aren't you? A pretty lame comment IMO.

Agreed. That's the same as saying tractor owners are all backwoods hicks. Or diesel truck drivers are obnoxious and blow black smoke everywhere.

I know many on TBN are simply allergic to the idea that good government can involve regulation but if you drop your rants for a bit and ponder the alternatives then codifying what is and what is not acceptable seems a reasonable thing to do. We don't shoot every dog that wanders on to our property and is a nuisance, we first involve the animal control officer. Same idea.
I'm not opposed to 'local' (good) government but federal regulations written up by a bunch of career politicians and their lobbyists and managed and enforced by bureaucrats thousands of miles away with no clue what the local 'folk' want is bad government!
