Don, glad your dog is ok. If one of those things can kill us, can't be good for a dog either

This evening all her swelling is down and now she is ready to tackle another snake. My wife had to distract Whipper while I shooshed our trophy rat snake into the underbrush. I think he came out to see which direction he was heading.

56F. sunny but cool day in the mid-60's. 39F tonight so I just put buckets over the two Better Boy tomatoes I planted this morning. I planted some cabbage starts too but I think cabbage doesn't mind getting cold.

The Dodge passed the state inspection this morning, sorry Drew one is enough. :D It has to go back for a recall fix next week. Two recalls, one for the DEF heater connector that may cause a fire, and one for the DEF hose bundle.

Buppies, congrats on your son's graduation.

TxDon sorry to hear about Whipper, SIL keeps Benadryl for her dogs when they get snake bit, they have trouble laying off the pygmy rattlers.

RNG tool geometry will affect your boring more than whether or not you use carbide. Maintain a positive rake angle will keep the cutting pressure down and improve results.

I took a walk late this afternoon, and cut through the woods on the way back. It was getting dark and I saw a few lightning bugs. The first of the season. Highs in the 90's and lightning bugs. It will be summertime before we know it.

summertime, and the living is easy...
66 degrees going up to high seventies, in showers and rain later.
that system is offshore and will come in at some point, bringing much needed rain.
I bet what we got yesterday didn't even register on my rain gauge. Or my grass seed...

off to the Dodge dealer this morning to drive a hemi 1500 and likely trade in my diesel dually if the price is right, and order a new one. while I bought my current truck off the lot, and got a huge discount doing so, this time I need to order it. For example, I never order a sun roof because I never use it. Thousand bucks saved. Rather have a better stereo or something.
and less chrome... Perhaps if I tell the salesman about Black Bumper Mennonites he will not think I'm crazy for wanting a low bling truck.

I've read all the reviews and videos on the ecodiesel, but I drive less than ten thousand a year and the breakeven on the ecodiesel apparently is over 100K miles. Makes no sense for me. One thing for sure, a replacement truck won't be a Chevy. This town is so dominated by Lee Chevrolet it should not have been called Washington, but rather Silverado.... A typical good old boy Southern town where every guy, without exception, drives a truck. And most are Silverados, with some Fords, some Tundras, and even less Rams. I'm fine being different...

may you all have a fine weekend.

Whipper, be careful out there!!

Coffee is done brewing. 57° with light fog this morning. Heading to 78° with some sun and thunderstorms mixed in. Headed to my mothers house to weed the flower beds. Can only do it for awhile before my back that's enough.
txdon, that's looks like the snake we got video of a couple years ago.
Good Morning All.

48 right now...high of 86 today. I have a number of chores today...top of the list is changing the oil/filter in the Z920 (maybe replace the blades too). I'd also like to change the break-in oil in the Gator (just over 60 hours on the Gator). After that...we'll see...
