Who makes the HST transmission in YOUR tractor?

This post got me looking more and more into my tractor and Mahindra's backend network of companies. I am somewhat surprised to see customers such a New Holland, Concentric, Eaton, Dana, and others...

Looking thru their product list, I'm not sure that they build the HST. Nothing seems to describe a hydro gear. I could be wrong of course...

Agreed, I'm not finding a lot on the hydro system itself either. Seems they make a lot of drivetrain components for a lot of folk though. From all I've seen I'd venture to say they likely made the differentials and gearbox attached to the hydro unit, but there is zero info on the hydrobox itself (that I've found yet).

Exactly....long gone are the days when the only thing rolling into manufacturing plants was raw materials and workers.

I had to have my HST resealed on my New Holland TC-24D last year. I split the tractor myself and took the pump to the dealership to have it done. After talking with 3 different dealers and a hydraulic shop, it was determined that it was a Kanzaki. The hydraulic shop (Wooster Hydraulics) is highly regarded and they told me to take it to a New Holland dealer as they wouldn't be able to get parts for it except through a dealership.
