My Ipad too. Relentless, plus they jump around as I scroll down to read the posts that are lower on the page. The one on there right now doesn't even offer a way to close it. So I clicked on it and then delved into it deeper, just to make sure they get billed for it. BTW my popup ad blocker setting is on.

Me too, iPad using Safari. Are they a problem on the iPad app too? I haven't tried the app yet, last time I researched it not too many people liked the app? Any opinions?

BUT THE ONE ON THE BOTTOM IS REALLY BAD!!!!!!! IT MOVES ALL OVER AND I AM CHASING IT ALL OVER TRYING TO CLOSE IT, AND WHEN YOU GO TO THE NEXT PAGE ITS BACK AND YOU HAVE TO FIGHT WITH AGAIN. IT IS ANNOYING ME SO MUCH THAT I HAVE TO QUIT READING TBN AND GO DO SOMETHING ELSE!!!!

Is this an apple thing? I have never seen any ad's at the bottom of the TBN pages. There used to be ads on the right side until I installed Ad Block Plus, But I don't have any ad's now anywhere.

In cases like this, it's not anything Apple or TBN are doing -- it's the ad service TBN is using that is taking advantage of the user with annoying behavior. Maybe we need to mention this to the TBM admins. I know in the past, sometimes their ad service got too aggressive and they were able to dial it back. Maybe the next time someone browses with their iPad, grab a screenshot (press home and sleep buttons simultaneously) and submit to the TBM admins.

I have no problem with static ads if they help keep TBM running at no cost to the users. But popups that follow around the screen cross over a line, and I am sure the TBM admins do not intend for the browsing experience to be annoying like that.

If you're using an iPad you should try the TBN app. It's free in the App Store. No ads.

Agree, although I also have a problem with static ads that flash continuously. Makes it difficult (for me) to read other text in that field of vision.

There must be a disconnect between manufacturers and the ad agencies that stoop to this. Does anyone ever buy stuff from people who make pests of themselves?

What defines a pest to one member may not be a bother to another...BUT: I never have and never will buy a product or service from ANY advertiser who distracts me. Today I made an online purchase from Advance Auto...their site had NO distractions at all but if it did, odds are I would have tried another site. It never fails to amaze me how advertisers waste their money trying a shotgun approach in the hopes of selling something. Odds are they p*** many potential customers off that way.

Thanks for the tip. I was able to do that for Firefox, but my Samsung tablet will not allow me to download one for Chrome. Not sure of the reason. There is AdBlock in the app store, but not Ad Block Plus, I went to the .org website and downloaded it from there.

Here's a screenshot from my iPad. How do we get the admins to take a look? This ad followed me all over the screen, always in the way for a few seconds before snapping to the bottom. Annoying!

im having the same issue with the ipad. No problems on my desktop. Its gotten to the point im not going to use the ipad to access tractorbynet any longer. The moving, non closeable ads are the last straw
