We moved our two boys into the same room recently, and decided a bunk bed would be the best use of space. The oldest said he wanted a tractor bunk bed. I found some examples online, and designed my own using the examples as inspiration. Just got it put together last night. Routing, sanding, and painting took longer than I thought. I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.

Excellent. Maybe a side business or you could sell plans for the TBN folks that wanna tackle making their own..

That is awesome!! Where did you get the decals?

My 21-month-old daughter is nuts about tractors, and I have been thinking I'd make here a tractor bed someday.

It should be against forum rules to post projects like that without at least offering plans!!!! I cant let my wife see this until you make plans available.

Thanks for all the comments guys... I will say it was a longer process than I originally thought. I did have the basic bed built in just two days, but after all the sanding and painting and accessory building it took a total of 4 weeks spending a couple hours each night in the garage. I love hidden storage, so I did have to include a toy drawer. If there was interest I could probably make a detailed PDF of plans for a few bucks or so. I got the decals at my local dealer. I just walked around the showroom and looked at the tractors and did some measuring and picked out a few that would work.
