Front-End Loader why does each dealer give a different answer???????? just say you don't know

I'm trying to find out which direction my mid pto turns it's on a l series 4740 tractor each dealer gives me a different answer and I need to know what's correct as I'm gonna mod a snowblower but only if the pto spins the correct direction !!!! Gees can anyone speak from experience not I believe so !!! The blower is counterclockwise as I thought the kubota rear was counter but the front was clockwise !!!! Here is a pick of the tractor and the blower

But I'm curious why you cannot start up the tractor and see? (I don't have a mid-PTO)

Because I have no one here with me and the safety won't let me run the pto and leave the seat

Rest some weight on the seat.

I have never operated a tractor with a mid-PTO but as mid-splines face forward, opposite direction to rear facing 3-Pt PTO splines, it seems logical to me mid and rear PTOs would turn in opposite directions.

OR jumper the wire to the seat switch as they are all normally open and close when you sit on the seat.

My bet is the mid PTO turns same way as engine and reverse to rear PTO.
For that reason to install a regular snow blower up front always wants a reverser to do so.
Also most if not all front PTO's are about 3 X rear speed or more.
One common style of reverser is taken from rear PTO via a 'box' and runs a long shaft under the belly to couple up to a standard blower sitting up front.
Complicated and lots of U-joints bearings and shafts as well as power loss.

Forget about converting, virtually impossible as well as just not cost effective.

If you can get to the mid PTO shaft easy enough, tape some sewing thread to it. Rig up a spool holder to hold the spool of thread. Crank up the tractor and briefly engage the mid PTO. As the PTO shaft turns, it will unwind thread off of the spool, and at the same time it will wind it onto the shaft. After a few seconds, shut the tractor off. You should be able to look at the mid PTO shaft now and see which direction it was turning as it wound the thread onto it.
