I'll admit I've stood on top of my step ladder once or twice when I had a good grip on something for balance...I think I was wearing a t-shirt that said Look at stupid. But I did soon thereafter buy a taller step ladder.

Good morning! 75˚ heading to 90˚ south breeze, partly cloudy. I'm beginning to think I covered my pool too soon.

I had a good size cantaloupe growing in the garden but in one night a swarm of green worms ate all the leaves and half of the cantaloupe.

While we were in HEB grocery store the other day the bread man was putting up bread I was looking the other way I heard a banging and my wife let out an awful scream. She never screams except for the times we were high on one hull on the catamaran about to loose the balance and flip the boat. Well anyways, I looked around expecting to see something or someone that had fallen, because they are doing a lot of remodeling in the store, and I saw both the bread man and my wife staring intently at a blank floor. ?????

She said it was just a large rat (the size of our cat) that jumped out the bread racks and ran under the shelves. I was still amazed that I actually heard her scream.

62 this morning headed to 67 today. Rain off and on all day. Hope the mortor on the block I laid yesterday dried good over night. Rain till Tuesday now. Maybe can work between storms.

Drew, your place is coming along nicely. Watch setting too many trees they become immovable objects that have to be mowed around.

Good Morning. 1025, sunny, {heavy fog earlier this morning} 83F with 77% humidity. Forecast high of 90F with 0% chance of rain this afternoon, and a low of 65F tonight. The temp went up 3 degrees and the humidity went down 6% while I was reading the comments, but the heat index stayed the same at 85F. It is going to be another hot one here. I got most of the mowing done yesterday, but the part that is left hasn't been cut for a couple of months. I will have to change over to the bush hog or go in 2nd gear low range if I stick with the RFM. I have concluded 6 acres is too much yard. Maybe a smaller garden next summer and the grass will get cut more often.

Drew, everything is looking good. But this isn't a race. You could space your projects out a little. What are we going to have to talk about when you are all done?

I had it (past tense) in both hands and now I wish I'd fixed it MUCH MUCH sooner...
If it were your tractor, you'd fix it, right?

62 and cloudy here.

Yesterday my oldest daughter turned 16, had a nice afternoon/evening of a movie and dress up dinner with a little shopping and a small necklace/pendant from fuddy-duddy-dad... She has no real idea how much she means to me, and all this divorce crap sure does not help... But is was a lovely day.

I've got a big deal interview next week, might even be a final round, and it is a great company, so I'm excited. Lot of interviews happening for me right now...

Hoping and Praying I am...
