Good Morning. 0940, sunny, 82F with 73% humidity. Forecast high of 87F with 69% chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon, and a low of 69F tonight. It should be nice and cool tonight. That will be a pleasant change.

I have the day off again. If this keeps happening, I can't say the rare Saturday off At least I have something scheduled for tomorrow. We are talking about riding up to Marianna, but haven't made up our mind yet. There is nothing we really can't live without until Tuesday when I do the weekly shopping trip, but Margie is wanting some new potatoes to go with the fresh green beans out of the garden. And we don't get the chance to go to town together very often.

72 here now, it was 87 earlier, and very humid. I noticed a lot of folks out this am, mowing lawns, working on stuff. By 1 pm, nobody visible anywhere. After about 6, folks started coming out again. I guess the Florida folks have adapted to the climate! It rained here, very hard for awhile, just as it got dark. I am in Englewood, north of Ft Myers. Have a good one!

Things will dry out a bit today and I can hill potatoes tomorrow.
Although we stopped selling them I still think i am the largest potato farmer in Dunbarton LOL

Coffee pot is brewing. 49° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 79° with mostly sunny skies. Cleaning up barn is still on the list. Neighbor came over and asked me to do a tractor project. Not much on the list for today. Kids are coming over to help celebrate Fathers Day. Along with some NASCAR racing on TV.

Been out on the porch rocking chair reading a fun book with my coffee. Only 55 degrees, so been wearing a jacket...sure is nice to have a cool morning this time of year.
The hummingbirds are in such a feeding frenzy that they were drinking from the refilled feeder in my hand before I could rehang it.

Nice father's day post, Gary. There was a car show in town (Ashland) yesterday with some really old beauties, including a truck similar to your pic.

59*F with clouds and a nice breeze. Mid-70's & sunny later today.

Mowing and some wood splitting is on today's agenda. The Fix-cut string trimmer head worked well yesterday. I used three pairs of string with one tank of fuel on the FS 250. I like it.

The jury duty trial begins tomorrow morning. There is a juror information number jurors are REQUIRED to call--according to the instructions. Unfortunately, they haven't updated the information since a trial back in February. :laughing: How hard could it be?
