What lurks in your junk drawer?

I got bored and put together a deer feeder in the living this morning room because of the rain and then decided to clean out two junk drawers. In one of those drawers I think I found the missing link to mankind and the other drawer was enough parts to build me a bridge to cross one of my creeks.

Now don't embarrass yourself we are talking about junk in real drawers not what you wear cause most women can spot your lie a mile away.

Knives, 22 shells, change, pins, fishing sinkers, pictures, old watches, old match box car, concert tickets, business cards, more knives, old keys, nuts and a few small metric bolts.

At my house those are called Oh My God drawers. As in I know I got one of them around here some place , probably in one of those drawers, but Oh My God it will take three days of rooting to find it

I thought there was an unwritten law that forbids you to clean out your drawer. Besides, I have two that everyone knows about, and a couple that only I know about. Let's see...it contains my knife collection, insurance papers, an ad hoc coin collection, old keepsakes, various keys, keychains, old watches, memorabilia, CD's, dog collars, files, a bushel of old 5X7 pictures of cars, airplanes and grand kids; various screws and a bunch of little knick knacks that I have no idea what they are or why I kept them.

I have everything I will ever need in my junk drawers.........but when I need something.....I usually go buy it at the local hardware store cause it just take too long to search through all that stuff in the drawers! Plus.....I always buy two so I can continue to add to my junk drawer inventory!

In one drawer alone I seem to have a collection of dried out ink pens, rubber bands, paper clips, random buttons, an old pocket watch with no chain and a host of other junk I can't bring myself to throw away.

I wouldn't make it a week. In the door pocket of my truck there are 12ga, 22-250 and 22 shells loose. But that's another thread.
