Coffee is brewing. 22° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 27° with possibility of snow showers in afternoon. Still packing. Does not look like any warm weather any place in North America for a few days. Got to make last minutes visit to family and friends this afternoon.

good morning all. Cold out, windy, and not warming up much all day, then becoming frigid tonight.
I guess I've waited long enough to drain the outside water hoses...that's definitely on the list for today.
Also, Ron..., dumped the fresh water tank yesterday and will go back today and try to blow the lines out.
I have the gizmo, just need to figure out a good place to plug it in.

It's been a long week, and I'd like to rest today, but I can't, the house looks like a nuclear bomb went off and I just have to pick it up. No one to nag me now, but I'm old enough to know it doesn't clean up by itself!

Nadene never wanted big speakers in the den, so I used a small pair of Klipch bookshelf speakers until now. Went to Amazon, found their highest rated not expensive tower speaker, and they are now installed. Rock and roll. So I'm going to get some CD's out, and crank that stereo up today, while I vacuum and mop. Mopping goes much better when you get a little hip action in it...

Been thinking about putting a Christmas tree up this year. Think I ought to do it for mental health. Maybe I could have a tree trimming party with the neighbors... Neighbors are already putting up their Christmas lights. Tis the season.

Yes Drew is the season and like your idea of speakers love music going when working makes the job go by faster. 46 outside right now high of 55 later today then winds kick in low in low 20s tonight high of 30 tomorrow the by Tuesday cold rain but where you are Drew maybe a big snow

Music makes the work go better! Just remember, what you put up now, you have to take down and put away later!

I used to have lights on my windmill, but last year's cattle took those down (and destroyed them) for me.

Haven't decided if I am going to put lights back up, or not. If I wait a few weeks before deciding, it will be a moot point! :cool2:

30*, windy and mostly cloudy. Slight chance of flurries today, high in the mid-30's.

I think that big weather system in the central US is going to mostly miss our area.

30 right now and a high of 36 predicted. A very chilly 14 is the low tonight. The prediction is for snow showers or squall over the next 3-4 days and a possible "significant" snow event on Tuesday.

Finally lit off the wood stove. It's been 20 some years (at least) since I lit off a wood stove. Other then a bit of smoke when I put more logs in it (I had forgotten to open the damper), it did warm this place up. Better then I expected, actually.

Roy, that wood stove sounds heavenly. When it gets really cold out, there's nothing that will warm your bones like
that stove. And make you sweat and open a window if you get too enthusiastic...

Good Morning! A cold cloudy windy 36˚.

I disassembled the wood burning stove, to get the fan out to see why it wasn't blowing. Then I saw the thermal protector and vaguely remember something about the stove having to heat up before the fan will blow. I put the fan next to the electric stove top, heated it up, and it came right on. Easy, but unnecessary, so I get no credit for a "FIXED!". :ashamed:
