Good morning!!!!

I need your prayers and good thoughts, Saturday is our large fund raiser which is done with our Cruise For A Cause. The money will go to a 3 year old leukemia patient. It's supposed to rain, we want to help ths family but a rainy day will be a disaster for a car show.

I pulled a few strings and I was able to negotiate a 60% chance for Saturday.
It's only Thursday so I could make a few more calls/texts....might be able to get that down to 50....if you promise to stop calling me a liberal....for the rest of the year....deal?

David, thanks for your support, prayers, and encouragement. However, a long-winded fellow like me could easily overpost on this thread. I prefer to keep things in this thread limited to brief descriptions as a function of what we are doing on a particular day. I have a specific thread here with all the details and regular updates. This is too important to keep to myself.

Will say prayers for you and your family, never a bother with what you have to say. Sorry it took so
Randy (toppop) I will send best wishes your way and prayers for you and the effort to help that young man beat leukemia. No child should have their early years filled with hospital stays and the pain of that horrible disease. I hope you raise a lot of money and fair weather blesses your effort.

Will say prayers for you and family and please continue to share always interested in what you have to say

Finally got a start on my fence posts. Got the terminal posts for my two short gates and 2 critical corners. Tomorrow the concrete should be set enough to pull a line for my other 2 corners and 2 6 ft gates. Digging with a post hole digger by hand which has been easier than expected. If this stays true I just might do the line post by hand instead of my auger.

Boy, there have been a lot of heartbreaking posts on this thread the last day or so...some of them brought tears to my eyes. Guess I'm not as crusty as I thought I was...

My PC took a dump...something in the registry got corrupted (running XP). The main problem was I cannot connect to my wireless network. It's looking for a certificate that I don't have. Anyway, after numerous attempts at restoring, repairing, etc.; I bit the bullet and just formatted the primary drive. All my important data, files, pictures, **** and such were copied to my secondary drive.
There is one advantage to doing this. My primary drive is 1.5 Terrabytes. When I first installed that, I should have partitioned it, so this is giving me an opportunity to do just that.
It'll take a day or so to get everything reloaded and up to speed. Might not be on TBN for a day or so.

TGIF 45 degrees this morning going to be a cloudy day, but I think the rain will stay southeast of us Sunday is my daughters wedding day and it is a hill top wedding with a rather large tent 40 x 100 and A second smaller tent so we should be able to handle rain if that should happen!

Roy if you can handle all that compute work I am sure you can handle QA in any electronics company in New England!

good morning all. Wayne, hope your daughter's wedding is magical.

57 degrees inching up to mid sixties today in light rain, and it looks like the rain will continue through tomorrow.
I thought Nadene would be home by now, but they are keeping her through the weekend, starting her on a month of IV food so that her GI tract can hopefully heal. This should be interesting...well, looks like the extra twenty pounds I packed back on will now come off again. And we both love to eat, and cook... Need to figure out how to do this, I guess I'll be eating alone so I don't drive her crazy in the beginning. She's due to come home on Monday, after a week and a half. At least she's not in pain and that's huge for me. And her too of course. Watching your wife writhe in pain is one of the most helpless feelings. We guys are supposed to fix everything. I wish.

Brought all the gardening tools home, plus a rototiller, and they are sitting in the garage waiting for me to work on them.
They sat out all summer under a tarp, and I have a lot of rust to get off. Can't put them away like that.
My special combo of Napa Protectant and WD40 will get them back in shape.

let's make the most of our Friday and have a wonderful weekend you all.
