good evening we had 1/2 inch rain last night,sunny today with a high of 69 today.
dave1949--Try to skim over the skidder marks with a big rototiller. It "lofts" the ground and after it sits for a winter tends to even itself out and not pond like it used to. I did it all the time on skidder ruts.
You sure lucked out on the frost thing this year. Aroostook frosted a month ago and it's getting cold at night there. I recall an occasional frost at the end of August every now and then near Dover-Foxcroft. In Ohio, as you know, it's still 80 on a good day.
