At Home In The Woods

I tried to edit my post where I was guessing. Too late. I couldn't do it. But my guess was wrong, so maybe he won't come to Altha to track me down. As long as he doesn't ask at the Altha Farmer's Co-Op, where all of my male classmates have worked at one time or another, I should be alright.

I thought that was not the right house. As I was thinking ones ha a gravel drive. The other house has his truck at it as well.

We could also send him a letter? :)

That would make a good song. Maybe...

Jeeze..this is really bothering you guys.....for Pete's...er ahhhh JAY's sake someone just call his house and end this...this SPECULATION. And hurry up before someone here goes in to De-Fib..............:pullinghair:

Meanwhile on the other side of the planet, Obed leans over in his beach chair to get another sip of a tropical drink that has a umbrella in it while casually mentioning to his wife..."I wonder what the guys on TBN are up too lately?"

QUOTE=J F;3429165]As an additional thought... any of you who posted "where" stuff, may want to delete it. It's a little "uncool" to do that on an open forum.

I know we can all find each other pretty quickly, but no reason to do it here.

Just my thoughts.[/QUOTE]

I have to agree with Jay....I wouldn't care for my details posted on an open forum as they have been here.

And....why not leave the poor guy alone? I appreciate everyone's concern....but he's a big boy, and obviously has his reasons not to post...Speculation is one thing, but continued borderline stalking.....:) Perhaps you're driving him further away..
Poor Obed might be hunkered down in the basement or chicken coop with the loaded double-barrel pointed at the door with no sleep for the last week waiting for the first knock on the door.....

Which is exactly why I didn't go down an unmarked trail in the woods looking for him. I'm outta here...

Well folks, I know who Obed is. Kinda scary the amount of information that is online for free. I have him and his wife's full name, phone number, address, and a bunch of other stuff. I even have his phone number....hmmmm

Ring, ring.."Umm, hello....is this Xxxxx, also known as Obed on the website TractorbyNet? Uh, yeah, my name is... is ...JAY and anyways, uh, well, the reason for my call.... A bunch of us creepers took it upon ourselves to infringe upon your person privacy to satisfy some underlying... perhaps even morbid curiosity as to why you stopped posting on TBN."

LMAO!!! Yes, I think the banner idea is funny too, but a letter should be the easiest. If someone PM's me his address and name, I'll write it and put forth the 50 cents to send it. :)

Great thread. I went through the entire thing a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Took me a couple days though!

Quick question to the OP. I saw that you put your well pressure tank in the basement. Have you had any issues with condensation on the outside of the tank due to the cold water from the well inside the tank?

Thanks.
toyotadriver,
I haven't noticed any condensation on the pressure tank in the basement. We have a dehumidifier in the basement so that may help.

I just happened across this thread tonight. I read the first few pages and I was hooked. But I have a long day at work tomorrow. I will do some catching up then. I can't wait to learn all the twists and turns of Obed's last few years.
Welcome to the thread Darro.

Is this really obed?? Must not have made it to the point at which we debate where you are!! OBED is BACK. That is unless he was hacked, but these last 2 posts are in character for him. Answering questions/comments on his thread.

Dude, Welcome back!! I hope all is well with you and yours. I have only read the first couple of hundred pages, then the last one hundred, but the amount of trouble you have overcome is amazing. Your home and family are both worth being proud of.

{sorry we all went crazy while you were gone. Please forgive me for searching for you, but we were all worried}

Well I sure hope we get another post or two. Surely those were not some crazy computer issue that should have been sent weeks ago. Oh well lets hope we hear more soon.

Thinking the same thing. Or either he just totally ignores the last 10 pages of us kooking for him.

Maybe we just need to ask him real questions?

Ones how is your garden doing? Mine has almost stopped producing tomatoes.
