No, I'd let him bring his equipment over to do it. I'd be the guy with the camera uploading it to youtube for everyone to laugh at. Not sure I could keep a straight face long enough to hold the cam steady. It's a good thing he owns a tripod.

Good tip for Mr. Weatherford: Bob, if bouncing and rocking in the seat is required to have enough traction and power to pull, you're pulling too much.

Why do people go to all the work and trouble to dig up stumps? You can drill a few large hole in top, soak stump in diesel, wait a day, and light it on fire. Most will burn for days and you end up with a hole in the ground full of ashes. If this is just going to be pasture, makes life easier.

The only reason I see to remove a stump was if you panned to plow area up for planting. Even then most stumps burn way down into the ground.

If you want to pull stumps, use a tractor and not a lawnmower.

If you want to remove stumps, cut them off the tree after you used the tree as leverage to take it out. Saves hours trying to remove something you shouldn't have left in the first place.
