Good morning!!!!

there must be a powerwasher disease going on, I went to start mine and got soaked. Missing an o ring at the tip, was used by a friend
who must have not seen it fall off. So thank goodness for little goody drawers downstairs, with all kinds of rubber things in it, but, there they were, little red o rings that will now be put to the test.
btw, there are wand washer rebuild kits out for about five bucks a piece.

Hello folks, how are you all doing?

Yes, I have returned! After more months than I care to think about I have got an internet connection again. Unfortunately however it is a mobile internet with one of those blasted "usage caps" (15GB per month) but hey ho.

Life has been pretty rubbish for the last 6 months or so and we're still not out of the woods but things should improve.

As you may remember we were made homeless in April (I believe I posted on here to that effect) and had to move into "temporary accommodation" which is not great but better than some houses used for that purpose.

Hopefully we will be offered a permanent house soon but for now we have a roof over our heads.

I may go into it more in depth at a later date but I'll probably leave it and save you from hours worth of reading about my misfortunes when there are people a lot worse off out there.

All going well you should be seeing me around regularly once again.

Take care guys,
~Jamie.

07-06-2013 Currently 81 degrees. High of 84 expected. I would rather have rain than drought, but I really wish that the daily rains would cease long enough for me to mow the grass.

Jamie, I sure hope there are smoother roads ahead for you. You are certainly an intelligent fellow, and I cannot understand why you can't find good employment unless the economy in Scotland is total rubbish. I do understand that sometimes you need a good permanent address, transportation, and some references to get your foot in the door. Frankly, if I knew somebody like you in the US and you were willing to do some steady work, I think I could keep you employed at 6 months to a year at a decent salary. Surely in Scotland there are some retired Scots who have the means to do the same. Somehow you need the ability to connect. Unless you have terrible habits or a long police record, I know you could make a decent living here. Heck, between me and two other neighbors, we might work you more than a year and a general handyman/helper at a decent wage far above minimum wage. However, that big blue pond between you and us is a barrier that's hard to overcome.:(

Thank you for the kind words, they mean a lot.

Sometimes I do feel like hopping on a plane and getting out of here (as much as I love my homeland) but I can't for a multitude of reasons.

Hopefully I'll find employment soon, but until then I'll while away the hours winding up JDgreen227

Speaking of which, is Bill still around?

David MFW, hope you get those this in somewhat a timely manner so you can get on with life. Not sure I understand how your wife can keep you from seeing the older kids - sad.
If I were the suspicious type, I'd have to wonder if and what she is hiding.

Prayers, brother.
