Never Urinate on an Electric Fence

When i was about 12, my uncle sold his farm to a city family from up north. They were fun to watch on a farm for everyone in the area. they were nice but had NO idea about farm life. Everyone helped them and it was seriously like Green Acres(if you remember that old TV show). they had 3 boys about 4 6 and 8 yrs old. They were over at our farm buying some cows and we all were back at the barn. The youngest had to pee and he went over to a corner(electric fence was there also) and he got shocked. he went to his older brother and told him and he laughed at him and said he was nuts. the 6 yr went over and tried it and it got him to, the he went and told the oldest and the oldest had to try it and again with same results. That was seriously funny that day. I have never tried that myself but i have been hit by electric fences more times than i can count and I do not like them haha. They hurt! Ours ran off 120 and not battery. Ours were strong enough to start grass fires and we had to keep them clear as we did have a fire starred by one. That family now is pretty good at farm life,but it was Green Acres for a few years there, hehe.

I have both types strictly DC Battery pack and a 120 Volt powered DC. To power one with stricktly 120 Volts even with a limiter is illegal.

As soon as I saw it was a story from Texas I had my doubts. Read the story it's not true.
I have heard of people using 120 volts for electric fence. Illegal by the way. That is not what happened in this story.

What exactly is that supposed to mean?

The individual that would PEE on an Electric Fence, would most likely, stick their tongue on a frozen utility pole in sub zero weather.

My youngest sister once stuck her tongue to a street sign pole. I was around 6 or 7 when she did that. A boy had dared her to do it for I think $5.00

She was around 11 at the time. The fire department had to come and get her tongue unstuck. That pole is still standing there on the street corner of Sylvia Kansas.

The pole that she stuck her tongue too is in the attached picture from google streetview.



And yes, she did get the money. His parents made him pay up. xd

Jeeze, she should have been a bit more discriminating, like me. My first experience was on an aluminum ice cube tray...at least I could carry it around with me for awhile...until my impatience cost me a ribbon of skin off my tongue.

XD. I thought it was real. I had to re read the story again.

Also don't try disconnecting the wire on the distributor that comes from the coil on a vehicle when the engine is running while standing in wet snow in attempt to shut down the engine.

You wanna know how I know? I experienced it. Grabbing on that wire and pulling on it lit me up. It was on my dads old ford tow truck.

It wouldn't shut down as there were some wiring problems. xd. It wasn't the brightest Idea I've had. xd

This story is a bit unbelieveable, but I swear that it is true. I personally watched one of my high school classmates place his fingers on the spark plugs of a running Ford flathead V8 and drown it out such that the engine died completely. He jumped and jerked a bit, but never hesitated. Later on in his career, he retired as a Senior Vice President of Koch Petroleum.

When we were kids.....we tripled dared a friend to light his fart. He singed a few hairs on his posterior and scared the heck out of all of us.......the things dumb kids do?:shocked:
