ATV/Garden Tractor Dump Trailers

Anyone have recommendations on a good quality dump trailer for an ATV/Garden Tractor? I'm looking for something with high floation ATV tires that can dump. Planning to pull it with my garden tractor and Polaris Ranger 400 UTV. Also may pull with my tractors sometimes.

I'm interested in only American or Canadian made units. High quality. :thumbsup:

I HIGHLY recommend the Polar Trailers http://clamoutdoors.com/polar_trailer/polar-category.html I bought the HD 1200 eight or ten years ago and have been extremely pleased. Both the 1200 and the 1500 are available with single or twin axles. They're not cheap, but if I had to replace mine, I wouldn't look at anything else.

(On edit, maybe they ARE cheap compared to some of the others suggested here).

Check out this dump trailer on our site. This compact dump trailer features a unique two-way tailgate that will open from the top (like a pickup truck) to load or unload large bulky items or will open from the bottom (like a dump truck) for spreading gravel, dirt, sand and many other materials. I've been using the following ATV dump trailer (bought at Lowes) for more than 10 years without any problems. It's probably a little smaller than what you seem to be looking for, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than some of the other options suggested. It's also worth mentioning that when it's fully loaded with heavy clay soil, it's all my Honda 350 ATV wants to pull.

These seem to be a lot of bang for the buck and have recevied good reviews. They are 1/2 the price of the King Kutter one mentioned earlier.

*scratching chin* i am with massyWV, garden tractor and a trailer fully loaded, and any sort of hills, or mud, or slippery grass, and you may be stuck, with the heavier trailers. ATV, i have no idea. i say get el-cheap 100 buck +/- 30 bucks. for garden tractor. that has a pin you pull to let it dump. just be careful and do not have any body parts near trailer when you pull pin, due to trailer will suddenly and violently nail you as it swings. and you may need a hammer and another bolt or like to tap the pin out, when trailer is fully loaded. or pair of channel locks if it uses a lever to hold trailer, and keep it from dumping.

on a different note, i did not see any trailers, that had an "actuator" = the electrical version of (hyd pump, hyd oil, and a cylinder).

the hand operated dump trailers look nice, no need to figure out how you will run wires directly off of battery, for an actuator, or were to mount and hook up a hyd pump. just a lever (kinda like a floor jack) to contract or extend cylinder to cause trailer to dump. and no body parts just waiting to get nailed for them cheap trailers that you just pull a pin.

No, not cheap.. But not "that" expensive either considering the current price of steel and the other components. I priced out making one and if I had to use new steel, tires and hydraulics, I was pretty close to the cost of buying a factory built model.

I was looking earlier this year and found them for under $3000 for the P-503 with the optional hand pump. That was for left over , last years models. Prices were supposed to be going up $500 this year, but if they actually did, I dont know.

Got one of theses years ago beat the heck out of it. And still is in great shape well worth the money. Went through atleast two of the cheep garden carts before i got one of these. Highly recommend

We have owned an LMI 7'x4' four wheel off-road dump trailer for many years. We pull it with a Gator 6x4 and a Rhino.
It is one of the toughest pieces of equipment we own.
Reasonably priced, very customizable, several dump options (by you or them).
