So many of the posters here put in food plots I think it would be a popular forum. We could talk what equipment to put in what seeds and what to do about fertilizer. I think it would be a hit. Lets get some hands on if you think a food plot forum would be a nice addition to the TBN boards!

I'd be all for that. I plant food plots professionally on most of my weekends this time of year (and a some regular days too).

Food plots and QDM is what brought me (back) to tractors and 'chinery.

I think a special topic would be VERY well recieved by lots of guys. GREAT IDEA!

Yeah, food plot forum would be good. Include a section on weeds and what cures them!

Good idea. A food plot forum would be well received I'm sure. It sure wouldn't be lacking for material or subject matter to be discussed or informative matter to be related and talked about. With the vast amount of deer hunters that also own tractors this forum should be very popular. And who knows, it might even prompt a deer hunter who doesn't even own a tractor, to go out and buy one.

YEs-YES.. I bought a tractor for food plots 90% of the time. Like foggy1111 i visit both TBN and QDM sites-- NO others-- There are some really smart guys on the QDM site when it comes to planting and growing. And their are some really smart guys here on tractors.. Would be great to see a plot forum!!

Add me to the list of those wanting a food plot forum.

It's still too hot and dry to do anything here in East Texas, but in another month, I will be disking up my summer food plat and getting ready to plant my hunting food plot.

I am a little humored by the idea of food plots for deer and such. I often have deer within 15 or 20 feet of me while running a chipper. If I leave a stack of pine branches on the ground the deer will eat the green needles within 12 to 24 houts.

Here's some pics from Feb of this year while working up a new lawn area.

I'd second that motion. Waiting for rain in the forecast to plant mine.

I bet the deer were happy to get them reflecting on it, I took these pictures the evening before we had record breaking low temperatures for four days. We got to -28F overnight with a high of -6F in the afternoon. That is freaking cold for southern New Mexico.
