Well as most know, I just had this tractor delivered Friday. Since then I have put 10 hrs on it, and all I can say is WOW! I have fixed my road, got rid of a huge burn pile that I had been adding to for years, and moved the dirt piles that were left from digging septic trenches 15 years ago. Yesterday we had a snow storm, and when that was done I cleared the driveway some. This machine has done what I have asked of it so far and am very pleased with my purchase. Since never owning a tractor before, I was alittle timid, but now I know some of what it can do, and I feel more comfortable with it the more I use it. Just wanted to brag about this little Cat!

I agree with you. I took delivery of my CT230 last December and have 10 hours on it. I like the new front loader and I love the hydro. I am new to tractors as well and still getting used to it. I am in N.E. Ohio so right now all I am really doing is pushing snow and it does fine with that. Good luck with yours and now it's attachment time!

Pace yourself man!!! You don't want that thing sittin' around for a year because you did all your tasks in the first 5 days!

I can see in your future that you will be collecting attachments as I did and not even sure if I'm done...

Don't cheap out on the rear blade. Get one that at the minimum has angle, tilt and offset. I would get a 7 footer for your size tractor. If you want to step up from there you can get one with some hydraulics to do all the movements for you. Many good brands to choose from.

The tractor has turned out to be the single most useful tool I've ever owned. Have fun and be safe.

My dealer is looking into to one for me, the ones with hydraulics aren't cheap, but I bet they are worth it!
