Has anyone had any experience with the 60" RFM from Harbor Freight?
My brother in law just got a new-to-him used BX2200 and is looking for a mower. He has about 1 acre of lawn and about 4 acres of pasture to mow maybe 3 times a year. The mower is relatively inexpensive - which is good - but can a BX2200 handle it?
Thanks for your input.

I had a BX2200 for several years. The manual should give you specs on implement size which tend to be a little on the conservative side.

I had a 60" MMM, but I am not familiar with the RFM from Harbor Freight, sorry.

If you need to get even with the BIL for something he did to you, suggest he buy the HF product you mention. Ken Sweet

yeah no kidding... there's a reason why it's cheap. Like most other cheap Chinese crap from HF, I wouldn't expect it to hold up very well, and resale value is non-existent.

Seems too big to me... if a '2200 could really handle it, I would say it's at the max it could handle. I don't think Kubota even has a suggested RFM for this model, do they?

Since he already has a used tractor, I would think your BIL would be better off hunting for a better quality (and smaller) used RFM for the same (or less) money. There's more to 'value' than the price.

Gee whiz, we offer one of the best finish mowers there is on the market for $895 for the 4 ft version. Ken Sweet

I can not vouch for the mower, since I don't have one. I just want to say that the BX2200 SHOULD be able to handle it.
