Snow 54" Snow Blower N Brush Guard

First Post- I've been told that the quick attach for the snow blower 54" and the Brush Guard will fit on the 2520 at the same time- I've seen a pic, is it possible- without changes ?

Here's my setup: 2520, brush guard and 54" snowblower. All are standard, no modifications or customizations.

Do you or can you, get a close up pic, when i talked to the salesman he told me it wasnt possible, but yet when i seen a pic like yours, i'm thinking there has to be a way.

Hope these photos help - the quick attach mounting plate is sandwiched between the frame and the brush guard:

There may be some clearance issues when lifting the front implement but it should be able to be installed without removing the Brush Guard. That was the case on my former 4100.

JD recommends that on the 3x20 series and the only issue is that the bottom cross strap impedes implements on the Front 3 PT hitch. But the implements are fully operational and I can lift them up pretty high.

What I called the quick attach mounting plate is in the parts catalog, but tough to find as the 54 inch blower is listed under the 47 inch blower:

LVB25302 - FRONT ATTACHING SUPPORT

I doubled checked my dealer invoice and that's the part listed.

I took a look at your posted pic, thinking that my messurments were off, took apart the grill guard, put it back on with the brackets, and if you look closely you can see the gaps at the ends, something changed in the design somewhere along the line, i took a few messurements, so i could compare them to yours, i have one of the earlier tractors, made in fall of 06'. the o.d. size of the tractor frame is 9 1/8, the size with the grill guard and snowblower bracket o.d. is 10 3/4, 19 3/4 with the grill guard mounted with out the snowblower bracket. i'll take some pics also

Views are from the top looking down and front looking back. In the second photo you can see the front attaching support sandwiched between the frame and brush gard.

Can't really tell from your photos but you have something in that space, too, and I would guess that it is replaced by the front attaching support that comes with the snowblower.

Update- After check some of the new tractors and equipment at the dealers, all the new tractors in the 2520 and smaller that i seen have spacers between the grill guard and the frame, that tells me they changed the design, mine doesnt have that, yet when i call john deere at the 800 number, the guy on the phone was useless and not much help.
