What kind of dangerous toys did you have?

Gosh, another twisted memory.

We used to drop rocks on .22 cal loads that are made for nailguns. What on earth were we thinking.

The last m-80's we could get, in 1966 or 67, you had to sign a form saying you were going to use them for rodent extermination. We signed the form but not even one rat came around wanting one. We did use the smaller black cats for frog extermination. You could stick one in a frogs mouth and light it and he would take in on in his mouth and we would cover it with a pan and then examine the results.

Throwing spray cans in fire to make it go bang. Also german ammo we found in the woods - sort of sport, drop it and run, now I am not sure what was the fun of it:D:D

Neighbor's dog would always raid our trash can and spread the contents.
I cured his habit by placing a blasting cap that was wired via extension cord to the kitchen window.
That poor mutt was deaf for weeks, but he never came back!
Also blasting caps stuck in a pipe made for a good cannon shooting pebbles across the lake.
Tried fishing with dynamite once but that only turned up a mess of tadpoles and no fish.

My father had some Japanese hand grenades from WWII. He made them inactive and sent them home from the Philippines. In the early 60's my mom told him to get rid of them.... so he made them active again, made me hide behind a hill and started tossing them in the lake behind our house. Made lots of mud and seaweed. Mom was mad. Dad was the best kid I ever knew when it came to blowing stuff up. :D

I never realized there were so many bad boys on TBN.
I wonder how many of us would tan our kids butts if we caught them doing what we did. :D

When my boy was born, everyone drove me nuts by saying the usual "I hope he acts like you". I always answer with "I only hope he is as smart as I was and always gets away with it!"

I like that a lot! Trying to live up to that standard myself :D

The problem with blowing stuff up for fun in this day and age is you stand a very good chance of going bye-bye to prison. Times really, truly have changed. Some for the better, and some for the worse.
