Nice ! I like the shot from the back with the grass flying. With that much to mow...... you need something wider though.

How do you like the flail mower?? Will it handle really tall grass?? It looks like you were mowing at a high speed, how fast were you going and what was the grass conditions??

1) Love the flail mower.

2) Though hard to tell by the pics and video, most of the weeds were two feet tall and THICK. Some patches were over the hood.

3) Going as fast as I could go and stay in the seat. Decided to put the rig through a "stress test". Don't know perxactly how fast. I've got more to cut so I'll use my GPS and find out just how fast I was cutting.


I recently put Smooth Cut blades on the flail mower so I was really surprised that it cut those thick weeds as good as it did.

LOL!!! We didn't use any pre-emergent on the hay field this year so I'm just cutting the weeds to kill them so that the Coastal Bermuda can grow in all it's glory.


I assure you I would NOT do this all the time!!! It is fun occasionally though. Good stress relief.


You shoulda seen the Bluebirds attacking the grasshoppers and assorted bugs that were flushed out. What a beautiful sight.

Too cool. I know what you mean with the stress relief, in reality you are lucky in that aspect.
