I bet the children of Evil Empire Financial Firm employees have new shoes and clothes for school... therefore, it is no skin off their a**es and they are not compelled to do anything for dealers.
EEFF wants *all* the money and will not budge. They are mean and greedy -- in no specific order!
EEFF needs a swift punch in the gut by national media to motivate them to cooperate... That requires lots of cooperation from dealers, customers and former Farmtrac employees proving EEFF's and Farmtrac Corp.'s wrongdoings.
Will the dealers, customers and former Farmtrac employees respond? It is time for you to stop "taking it" and start "dishing it out."

Question for Textron; How many dealers, that you helped put into this situation, can talk to other dealers and manufacturers and relay how you treated them?

The subject of a road trip to Tex****s ofices in alphretta ga. has been mentioned, a bunch of blue tractors driven around the block by angry dealers and customers might get someones attention.I think the media could be persuaded to be there with reporters and photographers. the Tex**** company officials would have to make some kind of statement or risk the media wrath.in any event they would difinitely feel the heat and might begin to see deep discounts as a good investment.we americans have as much right to peacefully protest our greviances as all the unamerican groups do.I like the idea, what about YOU????----------------Taxpayer

Taxpayer -- right on! Knowing their tee-times would be delayed for a day or so *and* bring the scorn of hometown media honks CNN is heartwarming stuff.

Just cutting in to say how much I've enjoyed blueliners literary (and movie) references. You're one clever dude. . . . and very funny
.To the dealers and customers of FT I wish you all the best! You obviously don't deserve that which has been dealt to you and I for one am pretty disappointed (but not surprised) that uncle sam and his posse of justice continue to stand by the sidelines feigning interest. As a proud owner of a new TYM tractor I admittedly sweat a little bit everyday over what could be for a new venture in the US . . . All of us out here in tractor land are (or should be) paying close attention to the FarmTrac Troubles and hopefully when it's all over we'll have learned a little something. Something about those who ignore history . . . .

Tax, Is this limited to the consumers who have filed complaints with the atorneys general, Federal Trade comission and U.S. Representatives and Senate? No! No! No! I've read other places that only four consmers have come forward and filed complaints. That would make a very short parade! Aren't there more consumers hurt by the Farmtrac mess? If they're not sure how to file-- Bluliner in a post above has volunteered to help. Just PM to blueliner and he'll Get-er done!

A parade in Alapharetta huh? Well Tex**** needs to know what these tractors looks like so what better way then to take them up there to show them! They have been hounding us about paying for them and they probably don't even know what they look like! A nice ride on one would show just how good the tractors are!
How can only 4 complaints be issued for the "less than zero" people?????? or the thousands of customers that are without warranty today??? If there was $2.9 million scammed out of people, there have got to be HUNDREDS of people out of money! Why have there not be HUNDREDS of complaints filed by these people who lost thousands of dollars and have no warranty???? In order for the "right" people (NC attorney general, etc) to know that there has been wrong doing-YOU HAVE TO FILE A COMPLAINT. It takes 5 minutes. Wouldn't that be the best 5 minutes spent in months??? Don't know what to say-how about starting with the money that was stolen from you? How about the warranty you do not have anymore? I think that is a pretty good start to a conversation! If you called me and told me that you lost $4-5,000 I would listen!

I surly do not know all the details of this situation, but I fail to see how Textron has done anything that any lender would not be doing. Yes, they could have thrown flags so dealers knew that FarmTrac was headed down the tubes, however its not their job to tell them how to run their business. Textron did not put FarmTrac in this situation, its seems pretty clear that this is where management lead the company.
Your opening sentence is entirely correct..........you obviously "do not know all the details of this situation.........."

I've been reading this thread since the begining because its interesting to me. Care to fill me (and everyone else) in on the details? They don't seen to be present in the 120 pages of posts here.

If you have been following this from the begining like you say than you lack comprehension (IMHO). For the business you are in reading between the lines is something you should have acquired and get good at piecing things together. Read slower if needed to understand. Seriously though you say you have read all post and can't seem to find details as to what the situation is??? Have you followed the articles in the papers that were linked?? These dealers have been generous with information to aid the public in honest business practices.

I suggest everyone not reply to this "baiting" with actual information. For all we know he is trolling for information to be used against dealers later on down the road. If not, just replying could lead to something being said that is damaging later.
It would not surprise me to see every page of this in a courtroom some day. Maybe Textron will call him as a character witness. Who knows. Best leave him in the dark. He can find out later. He has no need to know now. He is not a customer or dealer.

you'll leave messick alone!!!! if you think Textron is tough you should try to deal with some of the other financial empires in the floor planning business he has to deal with a few of them!!! He is just trying to stay on their good side so that he does not have to go get a real job it is hot mowing grass this time of year especially with a 21" push mower. Messick got any on sale???
