I bought my X485 less than a year ago and I love it. I got the snow plow to go with it and it works great.

Pros: Starts great in winter, plows and mows great
Cons: Parts are pricey

Very good lawn tractor. I have done regular maintenance with very few problems. Just this month I had a small oil leak at the oil pressure sensor and when I went to replace it the engine case had a crack in it also. Therefore the tractor went to my dealer for repair. $920.00 later and tractor is as good as new. After 900 hours of use I suppose I can expect some wear and tear. I still am very happy with the tractor, if need be I would replace it with an identical tractor if I had to. I mow approx. 2+ acres and it does an awesome job.

Pros: John Deere excels in the durability department.
Cons: All wheel steer is a very nice option, but not always needed.

Love the 485, never have had a problem. Follow owners manual for required service. Has always done anything that I ask it to do.

Pros: Ease of removing and installing attachments.
Cons: None that I have experienced.

Great lawn tractor I have not had any issues with this mower at all.

Pros: Great for snow blowing
Cons: seat is rotting
