X360 John Deere
Our Seventh John Deere Lawn Mower!
Model Year: 2015

We love our X360. We were replacing a John Deere 318 with a 48-inch deck and a short-lived Onan engine with 18 horsepower. The 318 was bigger and heavier but we didn't need that. The 22 horsepower Kawasaki can really run circles around the 18 horsepower Onan, especially with the same size deck. The short turning radius is much appreciated. We think that with proper care the Kawasaki engine will last a long time, as will everything else with the tractor and deck.

Pros: Great engine, great deck, nice big filler neck on gas tank
Cons: The control to raise and lower deck hydraulically is way too cheap!! Will break sometime

X360 John Deere
Faults
Model Year: 2010

My unit is very reliable. I use it year-round. The only problem I had starting it was because of a 10-year-old battery and a bad starter relay. I changed them and there have been no more problems. The design as far as where the hydraulic oil is, I had to buy a special funnel to put it in with. That's why I gave 4 stars for features.

Pros: Handles 2 acres mowing with no problem and blows snow approx 30 feet or more, easy to run and drive
Cons: .

X360 John Deere
X360 With 44-Inch Snowblower
Model Year: 0

The X360 and snow-blowing attachment were purchased in 2011. With 92 hours on the machine, likely less than 20 with the snowblower, it is in fantastic condition. The brace on the snow blower is bent. I brought the unit to the dealer. They reported, per the regional support manager, that it was my fault. Certainly not. This unit is two times the price of other similar lawn mowers with snow-blowing attachments, so I expected better service. Will not go with John Deere again.

Pros: Lawn cutting is good
Cons: Poor reliability

Starting proble when damp or cold
Model Year: 2013

Difficult to start when damp or cold. Starter will not engage and need starter assist mode from a battery charger on occasions. Maybe low cranking amp rating on battery. Not real happy with this.

Pros: Power lift and ease of of mower deck change
Cons: Starting problems

X360 John Deere
Great Tractor
Model Year: 2013

This machine has power deck lift, steering and tilt wheel, it is powered by a 22 hp JD engine. The tractor runs and starts excellent. The 48 inch deck has wheels that turn so the deck can side out with ease for servicing. The ride is smooth due to the over sized tires and it cuts the grass perfectly. The transmission is serviceable with a replacement filter.

Pros: Reliable.
Cons: Transmission fill hole not accessible.

X360
Model Year: 2009

Still early in it's life. The rating numbers do not mean much. Power steering is worth the extra cost. It makes cutting around objects real easy! -48" cutting deck performs much better than the deck on my old L130. The heavier material and better leveling design. Resulting in an improved cut. -The power deck lift eliminates the mechanical lift lever that is on the left side of my L130. That lever can be a pain in the "but". -The cutting speed increase of .4mph(L130vsX360) makes a huge difference in cutting time. -It's really tough to read the fuel level especially with the Power Flow grass catcher option.

Pros: Power deck lift and steering, improved cutting deck, & improved travel speed.
Cons: Lack of a fuel gauge on the control panel.
