Great For 4 Acres
Model Year: 1978
This Iseki Tractor has proved itself time and time again. The 3 speed transmission coupled with the 3 speed Range and 2 speed Creep give 18 ratios for the perfect gearing for any job. With 4 wheel drive and a differential lock, the only way to stop it is to bottom out the chassis on a berm. (Don't ask how I know, had to see what it would do) The front bucket is handy, but lacks serious power coming off the original pump. I use both a blade and mower on the rear with no problems. The one MUST HAVE addition is a PTO overrun clutch for mowing. The mower will push the tractor a long way without it. In close quarters it takes heavy braking to stop the tractor before the mower winds down. The clutch ran about $50, and was worth every penny to reduce brake and gear train wear. A very good purchase decision!
Pros: Gearing, simplicity and low initial cost.
Cons: No power steering.
