TL1900 Iseki
Wish It Was 4-Wheel Drive
Model Year: 2000

We really didn't know much about this tractor 'till we went to see it at a used dealer and we got the loader, the PTO, box blade, auger and bush hog plus a brand new 16 ft. trailer as a package. It was everything we needed for our horse rescue. But we are in sandy Florida. Luckily we are smart enough to know how to use our bucket to walk out of a mess, and don't bury ourselves, but it is really worthless to us without the 4-wheel drive. We often have to bury old horses and it is too top heavy. We can't pick up 1,000 lbs with the bucket without a lot of counter weight on the back. It began to overheat the second year we got it and we replaced all the usual items to no avail. We stopped using it a whole year. We just got the head redone and a new set of gaskets and it cost us $680, about 3 times more than our original estimate! We don't have it put back together yet. We paid $60 for a service manual that has nothing about the motor. Imagine. Now we have to search the web for torque pounds and the like. Not looking forward to putting this back together but cannot afford to pay someone. I am sure we need glow plugs next...it probably won't even run. And if it still leaks water, well then, it's the block.

Pros: Nice family tractor for small jobs, easy to run and handle.
Cons: Can't find parts, parts are expensive, no specs, no ID anywhere on the thing.

TL1900 Iseki
Used Iseki TL1900 Imported from Japan
Model Year: 1985

PTO 19HP, engine 23HP. A well built tough little tractor, ours had low hours, engine starts first time, very easy to drive with power steering, gearbox is so smooth that gear changes can be made on the go without any trouble at all. Sorry this is not really much of a review as this tractor was some 25 years when I bought it, but we think it's a tough little workhorse, and better value than a newer Chinese tractor of perhaps dubious quality.

Pros: Quality Japanese build.
Cons: No proper dealer network.
