MF360 Massey Ferguson
Good, Solid Old Machine
Model Year: 1988

So, in case someone on here is considering buying a Massey 360, there should be at least one review of it! The Massey Fergusons made in Coventry, England with the famed Perkins 3-cylinder inline diesels, are some of the toughest and most solid utility tractors out there. Even this model is legendary in the UK, Europe, and Africa. There are reasons for it: Built like a tank, yet quite fuel efficient. The 12-speed transmission is rugged. Everything about these tractors is rugged, really. A 60-hp turbo diesel that just runs forever. Mine is a 1988, so that's 24 years old, and it still does everything I ask of it. Like all older machines, it'll leak some fluids, especially hydraulic, but it's fine. I have the 232 loader on mine, and its' 50-hp PTO will lift a lot of weight for a utility-sized tractor. For anyone starting out, who has 25 or so acres or more, and can't spend more than around $9,500 or so, if you can find a good MF 360, you will likely not go wrong.

Pros: Solid, reliable, rugged.
Cons: Difficult to service yourself, compared w/new models.
