MCGHS Walker
The Best
Model Year: 2004

This Walker is the best mower I have ever had. Cuts amazingly well. Gets almost everywhere so string trimming is kept to a minimum. Does a great job on Fall cleanup-vacuums up leaves, garden trimmings, etc., etc. If I found an inexpensive snow blower attachment, I'd be very tempted to purchase it, but right now plowing the driveway with my pickup is easy and warm.

Pros: Mows everywhere, under everything.
Cons: Changing fluids is a bear!

MCGHS Walker
Exceeds Expectations
Model Year: 2006

I had researched top end commercial mowers for several years before deciding on a Walker. I have been very pleased, especially with the quality of cut, durability, and ability to handle heavy spring grass loads and fall leaves. It is elegantly designed and engineered, overbuilt, and easy to maintain. I use it on my own yard and to maintain a number of rental properties. I always look forward to mowing.

Pros: Exceptional cut and grass handling.
Cons: High initial cost (but worth every penny).

MCGHS Walker
Engineering Excellence!
Model Year: 2002

Talk about a machine built to last! An old-schooler, I appreciate grease fittings, and they are EVERYWHERE on this mower! A maintenance person's dream! The only downside might be the particular model of Kohler engine (TH16S) on this model. I have not had an any problems, but it has a history of dropping cylinder sleeves when customers neglect maintenance on the cooling, i.e. removing debris on the intake screen and keeping the cylinder fins clear of buildup.

Pros: Maneuverability, reliability.
Cons: None.
