Love my Ferris

I bought a new Ferris IS600z in August 2014. It had a bad voltage regulator right off the bat. I took it back to the dealer and 3 weeks later it was fixed. Have not had a problem with it since. I bought the one with the B&S engine and it works wonderfully. I love the shocks as my lawn is bumpy. But I think I will upgrade to the suspension seat. I have 4 acres that used to take me 2 days to mow, now with my Ferris and the 48 inch cut it only takes me 2.5 - 3 hours. My dad even comes over to cut my lawn (for free). It handles the tough woody Mexia grass like it is nothing.

Pros: fast, fun, excellent cut
Cons: needs the suspension seat

Well built. Rather uncomfortable, had to add a suspension seat, did not come with one, but was an option. Motor overhang can cause lack of traction coming down from a hill. Cut could be better, probably due to narrow deck (44") 48 should be better.

Pros: Sturdy.
Cons: Bouncy on rough terrain.
