FARMALL International Harvester
Excellent Tractor
Model Year: 1953

This has been a really good tractor. Always dependable and ready to work. Very minimal maintenance and repairs. Plenty of power for my uses.

Pros: The best tractor IH ever designed.
Cons: No live PTO or live hydraulics.

FARMALL International Harvester
Farmall Super A
Model Year: 1951

Not bad for a cheap old tractor with now features. It's pulled trees for me for almost 20 years.

Pros: Small, light and cast iron!
Cons: Small, light and no loader.

FARMALL International Harvester
Most Reliable Thing I Own
Model Year: 1931

My regular was converted to rubber tires before I got it, 12.4 - 36's in rear and 6.00-16 in front. Thirty-odd years I have owned it, and used it for ploughing snow from a mile of driveway and hiring out to do so or neighbors, skidding logs, hauling hay, rescuing stuck trucks (including County snowplough)and 4WD tractors, occasionally pulling 2-14 plow. All the repairs I have had to do to it are, made new bras float or carb. to replace sodden cork one, re-welded cracks where spokes of rear wheels attach to wheel rims, replace rivets holding spokes to discs, replace clutch pilot bearing, and grind valves once.

Pros: Reliable, economical, powerful, nimble.
Cons: Tippy.
