Nothing But Trouble
Model Year: 0

This is a 2460 Magnum, bought new and first time in use. At 2 hours, the engine to deck belt rubbed/burned and I was told I was cutting my grass 'wrong' by my dealer. He sees that all the time and charged for for a new belt on a new mower? Next, a roll pin for the rear pump came out for steering and I almost lost my arm. The front tire never has held air. There are loose nuts and bolts everywhere. The steering is not set right at the factory. A second belt started doing the same as the first, and while back again for service, I was told a re-adjustment was done. I am now on belt ''4'' at 31 hours. The battery went out at three months And I just went out and bought one myself. no telling what the dealer will say. I sent 3 emails to the factory, spent one call on ''hold'' and have had no response back. I can go on and on but this is cutting into my beer time. Please just think before you buy a Dixie Chopper, please.

Pros: Can\t find one yet
Cons: Please just think before you buy

Check Your Dealer And Machine Carefully Before Purchasing!
Model Year: 0

My Magnum HP had sat outside for quite a while on dealer lots. It has quit or failed to start often. The electrical connections are rusty and failing. The starter solenoid switch failed due to rust, and the same for the fasteners and seat belt. The spring on the seat adjuster rusted and broke while operating. I nearly lost control. Now there is a squealing noise from underneath and after the salesman lied to me about financing, I don't trust the dealer. On the flip side, my brother has the same machine and has no complaints. I wish I had paid more attention before buying.

Pros: Deck and smooth cut
Cons: Rust
