B7200 Kubota
Favorite Ride
Model Year: 1987

After a long day, nothing beats a couple hrs. in my favorite seat: pushing, pulling, cutting, plowing, dragging, whatever. It's my therapy!

B7200 Kubota
Kubota B7200 with Bucket
Model Year: 0

I can't think of much to say as I have not had it that long, but what little I can say is: • It is surprisingly powerful for a tractor its size, but I have to say that it is a bit challenged in filling the bucket with 1 1/2" - 2" gravel (or would that be better termed as 'rock'? lol), but have found that there IS a certain technique that seems to work out pretty well. ;) • Am currently negotiating a price on a package of 3 point hitch attachments (quite local, thank goodness!), which will indeed improve the practicality of "my little workhorse". They include a 60" mower deck, 60" plow blade, 60" rototiller, 60" rake and a single bottom plow. I can't wait to finalize the deal and get on with my "Spring To Do List".

Pros: • Lots of attachments available from 3rd party manufacturers • Seems quite easy and straighforward to render repairs oneself.
Cons: • Maybe just a bit small and underpowered for some of the tasks I had hoped it could accomplish, but that is hardly its fault. It is what it is.

B7200 Kubota
The Little Tractor That Could
Model Year: 1995

I'm in love with the B7200HST. It's small enough to fit in my building, yet big enough to do all the jobs I need done. I've taken the mowing deck off because I have a Craftsman for that. The Kubota is a very reliable, smooth running tractor.

Pros: Good power, nice HST, perfect size for what I do.
Cons: Stabilizer system sucks, going to fix that myself though.

B7200 Kubota
My 2nd B7200
Model Year: 1986

I bought a B7200 in 1986, brand new and had it for about 10 years. Sold it when I sold the farm. I just recently bought another one used, same year with a B1630 front end loader. These are good solid tractors and seem to run forever. I'm in the process of reconditioning this one, not a full restoration, just fixing stuff that has been neglected or ignored. The B7200 is hard to beat, even if you have to spend a little money making it right.

Pros: Durability, compact, enough power for most residential applications.
Cons: Parts difficult to find or expensive.

B7200 Kubota
Very Happy With This Tractor
Model Year: 1989

I got the tractor from a friend who bought it new. It sat most of the time. I also got a Bush Hog rototiller backhoe yard box post hole auger and a landscape rake. It also has a front end loader and I also bought a 3-point trailer hitch receiver for it. The next thing I'm going to get is a quick hitch for the attachments. So far I have done is replaced all the hoses on the backhoe and some on the tractor. I have done lots of work myself on the tractor shop labor rate to high. Sometimes I wish it had more power and could go a little faster but it has done everything I could ask of it. The backhoe is not the easiest thing to attach but I can do it myself.

Pros: Size of machine and ease of use.
Cons: A bit slow.

B7200 Kubota
Reliable Beyond Belief
Model Year: 1987

This tractor has been going since I bought it at 140 hours, basic maintenance and good care, stored outside, even during winter (engine heater battery warmer), you could call it old faithful. Attachments: FEL, backhoe, 60in. snow blower, 60-in tiller, mower deck (not used).

Pros: Operation cost.
Cons: A bit under powered, no power steering.

B7200 Kubota
Used Machine
Model Year: 1986

I purchased a Kubota B7200HST for an excellent price because the mower deck gear box was seized. It is amazing how they don't run without lube. I managed to disassemble the gear box and replace (4) bearings and (2) seals and the deck works perfectly. After using it for a while I smelled belt and smoke from under the hood. The Dinamo (generator) seized up. I just replaced (3) bearings in that (easier than the gearbox) and I will put it back on the tractor tonight. When it was running it mowed through the roughest nastiest stuff with tons of power---no problem. I am very excited to get this tractor running again. I am sure it was an awesome tractor in it's day and it will be again.

Pros: Very strong, lots of power, solid feel.
Cons: Older used, I am paying for the sins of the previous owner but don't mind.

B7200 by Accident
Model Year: 1988

One owner prior to me....101 hrs. at time of purchase....never had a rear implement on it...in prime condition except for some gravel rash on loader from driveway maintenance...sweet machine. We put a 48" brush cutter on rear and are very happy with performance.

Pros: Found a new hobby.
Cons: None yet.

Used B7200 experience
Model Year: 1987

I went to buy a new tractor (first CUT) but decided I should start with a good used machine and learn about my needs, skills, etc before dropping a big load of money on something new and unknown. I bought it with a MMM and FEL but sold the MMM on eBay for $700+ much to my pleasant surprise. It had 605 hrs on the clock and was garage kept.

Pros: Lots of BANG for the buck!
Cons: No PS but otherwise all OK.
