Model Year: 2000
Unit has a spartan op platform, no chrome, bells or whistles.. just built for work.. enough gauges and controls to get the job done.. lots of hp for your dollar. The 2wd is an economy model for sure, but int he dollar per hp situation. I'd rather have economy than chrome.
Pros: time tested trans and body design, real metal hood, not plastic or fiberglass
Cons: could use a larger battery tray / compartment like older 000 series

Spartan operator platform, but everything you need to see.. gauge cluster and controls. has a nice spring ride seat, 2 remotes with flow control and float, plus a foot throttle. lotsa power for an exonomy price ( -S ) machines were mexican assembled. My only beef is the wimpy battery area.. older fords of similar design had room for a much much beefier battery.. this one uses a glorified truck battery.. I got a group 27 squeezed under the hood.. but it would like more amps. Makes me miss the 4dlt batteries inthe old ford thousand series. runs a 15' batwing mower thru anything the front axle will push over
