535 Farmtrac
Solid, not fancy, does the job
Model Year: 2006

Not exciting, but not complicated either. Has done our 9 acre mowing job and survived operation by multiple drivers from first timers who found it easy to operate to experts who like its simplicity. Reliable enough with regular maintenance. Standard parts no problem, but Farmtrac's departure from the USA to India and now Poland can pose a challenge if seeking Farmtrac specific parts--we solved that after much research, and now have a reliable parts supplier in Poland. Problem will likely be on resale end, when it's time to upgrade, Farmtrac is undeniably an 'off' brand in the first world, but someone will be getting quite a bargain when the time comes.

Pros: Reliable, easy to understand and operate.
Cons: Farmtrac's exit from the US market.

Even though I have had very little issues with this tractor, as I do not use it very heavily, I wish I had bought a different brand. Within 6 months of purchase, FarmTrac went out of business. So much for warranty, and parts availability. I do hope nothing major even happens or I am SOL.

Pros: Inexpensive.
Cons: Slips in soft sand, and digs poorly.

This was a mistake. Poor finish, rotted rubber on most control covers (it is housed under cover), and it is just not worth owning. DO NOT purchase one of these. I will trade it sometime during the next six months if possible.

Pros: None.
Cons: Everything about this tractor.
