Our new tractor has a problem of turbo charger failure and the company wants to change the whole turbo fitting and engine parts, but they don't want to change the whole tractor.

Excellent tractor. Only problem I have had is to replace the starter solenoid. Should have bought a 4 wheel drive. I also have a Kubota 3400 4WD for gardening and grass mowing. No problems with it. Emil Lynch

Pros: All okay.
Cons: Starter solenoid.

JD 5210 with front loader. Tractor has been good for my uses, bush hogging, land clearing, loading and unloading trailers. Some plowing and light farming.

Pros: Has plenty of power for the size.
Cons: When freezing temperatures hit it's useless. Shifter freezes and can't be moved.

Good solid tractor with lots of power for HP rating. Superior steering control to other tractors I have owned.

Pros: Solid build and lots of power.
Cons: Recurring problem blowing fuses to fuel sensor.

I0 have owned a 1999 John Deere 521 with sync shuttle transmission, MFWD and 540 loader for almost 2 years and have put 160 hours on it. It starts with just the flick of the key even after seating 2 weeks and at 30 degrees. It has done everything I have asked of it with easy. It has lifted and moved over a ton of gravel with no problems. It steers easier then my car and is easy to get in and out of close quarters. Its rear tires are loaded and other then digging into a gravel pill, I have not had a needed to use the MFWD even pulling a 26 inch diameter 12 foot maple log. The only negative is it is a bit noisy, but that is the natural of a 3 cylinder diesel.

Pros: Easy to use, plenty of power, and easy to start.
Cons: Noisy.

I purchased a John Deere 5210 in 5/09 with 340 hours. I have not once regretted my decision to purchase a utility tractor. It has a 540 FEL, MFWD and sync-shuttle transmission. I have had no problems starting at 20 degrees. To date (10/10) I have put 140 hours on it. It can lift and moving a ton of gravel with no rear ballast other then loaded tires. Being used I painted the loader, all tractor metal parts, polished up the hood and fenders, gave it a good cleaning, replaced all fluids and filters, replaced the seat cushions, fuel cap, instrument glass and fixed a number of electrical problems. I purchased a new JD GM1072R, which has a Woods gear box. I like that the mower is not wider than the tractor, so that I do not have something wider on the back, than the tractor. The power steering makes it very easy to move around. The loader or just the bucket is easy to take off, just need to be on level ground. The only negative on the tractor is the 3 cylinder is noise and requires ear protection.
